My watch's screen freezes every time I charge it, so I have to restart it after each charge. Otherwise, until I remove it from the charger, the battery percentage and time remain constant. The watch is charged, but it freezes for some reason. I like having a longer charging cord because it's more convenient, but I'm not sure it'll work with this reset nonsense. In the morning, all I want to do is grab my watch and leave. I assumed that since it worked with the Forerunner 645, it would work with the Music version as well. No way, I guess.

It doesn't fall apart like the previous two

In general, it appears to be a more durable cable. Because they were bent back and forth, the last two I had broke right near the connection head. I noticed in the description that it had been improved, and I can definitely tell! This one isn't as flimsy as the others I've had in the past. It holds a charge well and has proven to be extremely durable thus far.

The USB end appears to have been smashed with a hammer, and the wires are melted. This is supposed to be a brand-new product. I suppose what you pay for is what you get.

I needed a replacement charging cord for my Forerunner 645 but didn't want to spend $20 on the Garmin brand. This item charges my device and allows me to transfer files directly from my MacBook to my computer. It gets four stars because it does the job, but it doesn't feel particularly long-lasting. I'll be careful with the spring clasp because it feels like it might snap if I squeeze it too hard.
