My Fitbit screen is shielded by a silicon protector. I can get the charger to work without removing it if I work really hard, but I've decided that it's just easier to remove one strap and slide the Fitbit's screen protector off. If you only have a thin film to work with, (That's what I had on my previous Fitbit3) If you use a screen protector, the charger should work fine.
There are two prongs on this Fitbit Charge 4 charging cable.

This particular charging cable brand (NANW Charging Cable) has been mentioned by many others. Fits perfectly on the Fitbit Charge 4 (comes with 2 cables) and is as good as, if not better than, the original (OEM) charging cable that came with my new Fitbit Charge 4. Both charging cables worked right out of the box with my Fitbit when I tested them, and I'm hoping they'll last as long as the Fitbit itself. One will be kept in my car and the other in my luggage. These charging cable "cradles" actually fit better when attached to the Fitbit to charge it, in my opinion. Who knows where Fitbit gets their charging cables, which are included with their products. This company did an excellent job designing their cables to match the Fitbit's specifications. This is a "must have" item for me, and I have very high expectations when it comes to purchases.
I recently purchased a Fitbit Charge 4 and needed a charging cable for my office; it was a bonus to receive two of them, so I now have a spare to keep on hand. I'm amazed at how much easier it is to connect the charging poles to the plates on the underside of the Charge 4 for charging with this charger than with the Fitbit original charger.
These cables are great for charging my Fitbit Charge 4 because they have a longer length. The provided cables are rarely long enough to connect my Fitbit to the charging port without requiring me to lay down. These cables allow me to place my Fitbit on a desk or side table out of reach of my three rescue pups, which isn't ideal with a pup pack of three rescue pups!.
Because my Fit Bit had always been difficult to charge, I was starting to dislike it. To get the charger to stay charged, you'd have to fiddle with it for at least 5 minutes. This charger is far superior to the one included with my Fit Bit. It fit perfectly and was still charging when I put it down for the first time.
In my car, I have a charger. Having to buy a new charger every 18 months or so when the device craps out and has to be replaced is a source of frustration for me. br>br>Why the Fitbit folks haven't figured out a universal charge attachment that works on all devices is beyond my comprehension, but it is a source of frustration to have to buy a new charger every 18 months or so when the device craps out and has to be replaced is beyond my comprehension. br>br>Don't get me wrong: I adore my Fitbit and the app's user interface, but I have a drawer full of chargers that seem to outlast the devices.
When I first got the phone, I was given a charger, which I kept next to my bed. I wanted one to keep in the car for road trips and another to bring with me on overnight trips. These chargers are identical to the originals, and they perform exactly as expected.
Fitbit appears to believe that charging cords should be no more than one foot long. It's great that there aren't as many aftermarket companies. I didn't think I needed two cords, but I'm glad I did because I now have one at work and one at home. If you're wearing a screen protector (as I am), they'll be a tight fit. To reduce the risk of damage to my screen protector (the soft, self-adhesive screen protector), I plan on gently filing down part of the arms. style of healing).
There will never be enough! These were ordered because I needed one to charge overnight, one for my office/laptop, and one for travel. They appear to be identical to the original Fitbit cable and, as far as I can tell, function in the same way. They're a good length. It's a good deal to get some extra cables!.
