Unlike some of the other reviewers, I read the description and immediately recognized that this was an Apple magnetic charging puck to USB-C adapter. DO NOT BUY unless you have one of the new MacBooks with the USB-C port. C ports, or one of Apple's fast-charging bricks (the one with a USB-C port). It has a type C port. br>br>This product did not deserve a one-star rating from you, Ms, because it was your fault for not reading with your eyes. This product does exactly what it says it will do and is in excellent condition.
The addition of chrome trim around the apple watch chargers is a nice touch. I attempted to use an aftermarket charger, but it was inefficient; The apple-branded charger functions perfectly, and I've integrated it into my charging stand.
False advertising claims that it is USB-compatible. C, but it's actually USB-C. A sticker on the box reads USB- The packaging, however, clearly states that it is USB-compatible. Very deceptive, and I was contacted right away. Instead, I'll buy straight from Apple.
It charges quickly and does not overheat the watch, as one would expect. However, the USB-C connector's metal design and added bulk Because this is my daily carry cable, I want it to be heavy and cumbersome. I'd rather have one made of plastic.
It compares to an Apple computer or an iPad, according to the manufacturer. I don't have a laptop, and there's no way to plug this into my iPad. USELESS.
This was more than I wanted to spend, which is why I put it off for so long before purchasing it, but I'm glad I did. It's convenient that all of my devices share the same physical charger interface, allowing me to carry fewer blocks. Using a higher wattage charger will, unsurprisingly, charge the watch faster.
I bought this to keep in my bag at work. I went with the USB-C cable. USB Type-C vs. USB Type-A- A because I intend to use it primarily with my battery, which I keep in the bag with the USB-charger. C plug. The charger is identical to the one included with the Apple Watch. When I bought it, all of the non-fiction books had good reviews. The chargers made by Apple were either inadequate or incompatible with the Series 5.
I have faith in it, and it has proven to be reliable in terms of charging and durability. I had no concerns about compatibility with my Apple Watch, and I knew I'd made the right decision when I saw an off-brand charger smoking while on vacation. I'd rather pay a little more and not have to worry about it.
