There is no aluminum in the copper.
It doesn't appear to be relevant to your particular application, not that I can see why it would.

It is good at a good price, but does it compare with the best available? No, of course not, but if you are in need of heavy gauge speaker wire at a reasonable price, I recommend this. I like that it is easy to use, has clearly defined polarity, and is flexible. As far as the spool was concerned, it had no breaks. In regard to that, I have no idea if I was just lucky or if the manufacturer had addressed and fixed the "breaks" some others encountered. If I had to buy it again, I would.
A new update! You shouldn't buy it if you are planning to run long routes. Wires can be run across the house with ease with this device. It doesn't seem to be an issue. In order to run some speakers, I had to run about 80' across a roof. It was cut at I think someone at the factory ended my spool in the middle and started a new one on this unit (there was about a 150' and 100' length on the spool instead of it being continuous). My mood was not good when I had to rerun wires up a wall and start all over when I was in the attic. There will never be another time when I buy from these people. The 17th of February.
A great wire, seems to be a true 14-gauge An arbitrary scale. entire thing to make sure there were 250 feet, so I am just trusting them on that, but it seems to be the case. The plastic coating is very nice, I'm happy with the whole thing. The price is fantastic.
I was looking for decent speaker wire at a good price. This is braided and a large gauge so I can have good sound quality. This is the best price I found for this grade of wire online.
It feels a little loose, but does the job well, is flexible and easy to work with, probably due to its lighter weight. Insulation is strong, but it is flexible and bendable. The problem is not my fault.
High quality wire. Heavy sheathing, 14 gauge cable that is perfect for long runs. My experience was completely hassle-free.
