How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

ONE HUNDRED FEET (30 METERS) 5m) [FROSTED BLUE/BLACK 14 GAUGE SPEAKER WIRE] - The lower the gauge number, the thicker the wire, and the less resistance to current flow it presents.
CCA (COPPER CLAD ALUMINUM) WIRING - CCA wiring is an excellent conductor for audio transmission. When it comes to speaker wire, this is the most cost-effective option.
RUGGED PVC JACKET - Allows for free, wide, and seamless adjustment of the wire's required physical properties like flexibility, elasticity, and impact resistance.
EASY IDENTIFICATION OF POLARITY - This two-color jacket makes polarity identification a breeze. Your audio equipment may be harmed if you make a polarity mistake.
SOFT TOUCH JACKET - Our cable's jacket is made specifically for installers. This jacket's flexibility and low memory make it easy to route.

Questions & Answers

Is this speaker wire suitable for use outside?

The jacket appears to be adequate for protecting the wire outside, but you'd need to take additional precautions to protect the connections.

Is this thin enough to run through a drop ceiling without causing the tiles to fall out? I'd like to use it to power the rear surround speakers. ?

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "through a drop ceiling so the tiles don't get damaged." If you mean that the wire can run through the tile without having to cut a notch in the tile or tile framework, then yes. maybe. The wire is approximately 1/8" (3.25 mm) in diameter. 1/4" (6. 175mm) x 175mm 35mm), so depending on how you plan to route the wires, the amount of play between your tiles and their framework, or between the frame work and your wall, is a factor. Best of luck! BTW: It is more flexible than 100% copper wire of equal gauge of equal gauge of equal gauge of equal gauge of equal gauge of e

Is it possible to use this wire as a speaker wire in the ceiling?

It's regular speaker wire, and I used it to install an in-wall speaker that's similar to it. When it comes to the installation, you'll need to check your local building codes. If the wiring will obstruct your attic travel, some places require it to be stapled. You won't need to staple any of them if you leave some of them overhanging.

Is it capable of handling a surround sound system with a power output of 1000 watts?

Five speakers make up a typical surround system. As a result, 1000 watts per channel is equivalent to 200 watts. Because I am a bit of an audiophile, I prefer to use 12 gauge wire for speaker runs of 25 feet or more. 14 gauge is sufficient for short runs of less than 25 feet.

Terrible
3/5

I bought it based on the reviews and the price, but I was duped. This is my only review on Amazon in many years - it's complete garbage. I was merely attempting to safeguard others from my error. Other reviewers claim that the wire is made of aluminum, which makes sense now. When working with the wire's bare ends, a significant portion of it will simply fall off, leaving tiny wire shards. Working with entails removing insulation, inserting and removing binding posts, and even twisting. I can't think of a single application where this would be appropriate. Spend a few dollars more on something of higher quality, such as Monoprice; I have no idea where the positive reviews for this product come from.

IN SOME AREAS, COPPER WIRE WAS EXPOSED
3/5

I got the package and read it. Everything appeared to be in excellent condition. I was about 30 feet into the spool when I realized something was wrong. Only the blue wire (ONLY THE BLUE WIRE) had exposed wire for another 20 feet after that. I didn't realize it until I'd already driven 30 feet in my boat, which was a pain to get to. I'm not sure if that was the case for the first 30 feet. NOT HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT.

For the 95%, high quality wire is required
5/5

This is a genuine wire! It sounds great because it is soft, flexible, and has a lot of fine strands. It's the ideal speaker wire for your car's audio system. I was worried that the soft insulation would be difficult to pull, but it worked perfectly for me under carpet and didn't get stuck once. Unless you're doing a lot of installs, wiring an RV, or something else long, the 100-foot spool will last a long time. It isn't pure copper, and it isn't a 12 gauge wire. However, this wire will do the job for 95% of people. Unless you're a die-hard audiophile or a builder of competition systems, that is. Don't get caught up in the trap of buying expensive and unnecessary heavier gauge wire; if you do the math, you'll find that most of the time the heavier gauge expensive wire isn't required.

Cable is fantastic
5/5

In person, the colors are far more vivid. This cable is one of my favorites. Initially, I was concerned that the color would be glossy and unappealing - However, once you remove it from the gleaming plastic, it is not at all gleaming. The two- The sound quality is excellent, and the tone brownblue makes it super easy to keep track of positives and negatives. I used it for my home theater's rear speakers as well as bi-directional audio. In a music listening room, a pair of vintage Snell speakers are amplified. br>br>To make wiring pairs of speakers easier, get two spools. If you need a rig to help pay it out, I simply used four Black and Decker clamps on a 3/4" auger bit to hold the spools in place. Everything went smoothly.

Excellent product that performs flawlessly! I used it on an older Yamaha A/V receiver so I could see the setup menu, and it worked perfectly
5/5

I use it with an HDMI Switcher (4k/60hz, HDCP 2. ) 2) with a single audio output via fiber optics. With this setup, I can use my older Yamaha Flagship receiver, which does not have HDMI ports. Also, the single one-star rating it received was unjustifiable. That customer stated that they had purchased the incorrect product and that there was no issue.

Nice Wire
4/5

It's a good wire, but how does it sound? That sounds promising. Does it appear to be attractive? Yes, it does appear to be attractive. What about long-term use? It appears to have a long-term effect. Have I ever paid less for wire of this gauge and length? Yes. Was it the cheapest wire I could find on Amazon and in the few stores I visited before buying it? Yes. Is it possible to price it lower and still make a good profit for the seller? Without a doubt. Was the deal still good? Yea. Is it something I'd go out of my way to get? As long as I didn't come across a better deal. Is it something I would recommend? Yes. So, if we're talking about stars, I'd give it a 4 out of 5, which is a good score. Especially for speaker wire, a product must exceed my expectations and be priced better than fair to receive five stars from me. Wire is excellent, 4 stars, rack-mountable.
