How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
ONE HUNDRED FEET (30 METERS) 5m) / 14 GAUGE SPEAKER WIRE - The lower the gauge number, the thicker the wire, and the less resistance to current flow it presents.
OXYGEN-FREE COPPER (OFC) - Because it does not expand or contract with heat and can carry a higher current load, oxygen-free copper wiring is a better electrical conductor than aluminum.
RUGGED PVC JACKET - Allows for free, wide, and seamless adjustment of the wire's required physical properties like flexibility, elasticity, and impact resistance.
EASY IDENTIFICATION OF POLARITY - This two-color jacket makes polarity identification a breeze. Your audio equipment may be harmed if you make a polarity mistake.
SOFT TOUCH JACKET - Our cable's jacket is made specifically for installers. This jacket's flexibility and low memory make it easy to route.

Questions & Answers

Is there any kind of in-built protection on this wire? What are the ratings on the walls?

This is not house wire; it is low voltage (12 volt). Do not use it in your home or you will have serious problems.

How many strands does each conductor have?

I'm not sure, but it's a fantastic wire, pure Cooper.

140 Watts 12 ft long speaker wire, what gauge should I use?

This 14 Gauge is perfect for the job. Because it's made of pure copper, there won't be any resistance and everything will flow freely. I have Alpine S type 80 watts (160 watts) front and back, as well as my subwoofer, and it sounds fantastic.

Is it possible to use this as an amp's power wire in a car?

Wire gauges thinner than 10 gauge are more suitable for speaker wiring, while 8 gauge and up are more suitable for amplifier power wires. Depending on the amplifier, simply use the largest gauge wire that fits in the amplifier.

Upgrade your sound system for the least amount of money possible! This is my new favorite speaker wire! I've been using basic 16 gauge speaker wire for a long time, and I've had issues with sound cutout, popping, and cracking
5/5

For a long time, I assumed it was a problem with my receiver, which was beginning to show its age. I purchased this wire because I was moving my speakers and needed to replace the wires I had previously used due to their length. I did some research and found gauge recommendations based on wire length and speaker impedance, determining that 14 gauge was required. This wire was chosen because it is made of solid copper rather than copper plated copper. The black and red jackets were also appealing to me. The difference in audio quality is incredible! I can't compare it to other 14 gauge wires, but the difference was noticeable right away. I haven't made any other changes, and the cutting, popping, and cracking have all vanished. My speakers seem to have improved in volume and clarity. It's as if I've switched to a completely different operating system! I cannot stress how important it is to upgrade.

This is ideal for my needs
5/5

Because I spend so much time in my garage (e. g. , when I'm working on my car), I wanted to add a decent sound system to enjoy (for car and motorcycle maintenance, workshop, home gym, and so on). For years, I had been listening to an old boom box from the 1980s, but it was time to upgrade. I hooked- I had set up a Pioneer AVR, CD player, and Mirage 460 speakers, but I had used very old, thin speaker wire from my first stereo system, which I had purchased in the early 1980s. The speaker wire was extremely thin and silver in color on both sides (so it wasn't copper or even CCA). I had a 25-foot run from the receiver to each speaker, so I figured upgrading to better wire couldn't hurt. I considered purchasing 12 gauge wire, but decided it would be excessive. The 14 gauge seemed about right, so I looked at a lot of wire and read a lot of reviews to see which one offered the best value for money. I kept returning to this InstallGear 14 gauge oxygen-monitoring system. copper is available for free; It received rave reviews, fulfilled all of my requirements, and looked fantastic. Not once did I feel let down. The 14 gauge wire is a significant improvement over the previous wire gauge. It's a step up from what I was using before, and the wire's quality can be seen in its physical characteristics and sound. If I ever need more speaker wire, I'll buy this again.

Quality OFC speaker wire
5/5

I've had corrosion issues with CCA speaker wire in the past, but the problem usually goes away once you seal it off from moisture with glue lined heat shrink and dielectric grease. This issue was discovered during the installation of a car door speaker. This wire is of much higher quality, and the extra $10 for 100 feet is well worth it. Corrosion isn't a big problem with copper because it takes a long time for it to corrode. There are virtually no issues if you use glue lined heat shrink and grease, and this wire can handle more amps because CCA is typically 50-100 volts. As conductive by 60 percentage of the total.

This is an excellent copper speaker wire - it's a fantastic product
5/5

Pure copper has a high conductivity (I tested it), and it's easy to strip and manipulate for speaker attachment. The difference between copper clad aluminum (CCA) and real copper (specifically, oxygen-free copper) is shown in the attached photo. OFC (free copper) is a term that refers to copper that is available for The color difference indicates that CCA is basically aluminum, which has approximately 60% the conductivity of copper. Although OFC is more expensive, the difference between it and CCA is usually negligible when compared to the price of stereo components. CCA will work fine in most cases and may be preferred for very long speaker wire configurations, but if you're running short speaker wires, go with pure copper.

Wire was of good quality, and I was able to set up a new system with it
5/5

It was simple to work with, but solider at a lower temperature because the sleeve does not like heat. It absorbed solider well with some flux. The wire has a nice twist to it with a good amount of twist, proving that its gauge is more accurate than its competitors. Flexes well as well.

It's a good cable that's simple to use
5/5

The cable appears to be of reasonable quality. Stripping the wires and reattaching them was a breeze. angled banana plugs. br>br>The product makes it easy to distinguish between positive and negative polarity, allowing the user to maintain proper polarity. br>br>I wouldn't be able to say whether the sound quality is better or worse than any other standard cable because sound quality is influenced by a variety of factors including the audio system and the audio source.

The copper is nice and thick
5/5

Solid copper wires that are nice and thick. These have a flexible and soft covering that makes them easy to run. I have them close to power wires because they are well insulated, and I don't hear any hum from them. Despite the fact that the wires are thick, I was able to bi-directionally bi-directionally bi-directionally bi-directionally bi With a little persuasion, I was able to get them hooked up to my receiver.

For the money, it's a fantastic deal
5/5

This cable was purchased to connect receivers to 6 and 8 ohm speakers. After putting in 16 hours of work, The 14-gauge speaker wire has been around for a long time. gauge is a significant improvement. It's a little more difficult to conceal, but its thick insulation and heft more than compensate for its visibility. Overall, it's a lot of wire for the money, and the quality is excellent. I would definitely buy from them again.
