It would make sense to me if Vantrue had integrated GPS into the camera itself by now. So, it is what it is. They make a great camera, so that is what it is. It was very secure to mount the camera on the GPS mount for the N2 Pro. Due to the mounting mechanism for the N4, the camera can move freely as a result, whenever I hit a bump in the road, I have to adjust the camera. If I took it down and tried putting something on the ball to tighten it, I may have to take it down. When I hear back from you, I'll let you know if it worked.

When I purchased my N4 Dashcam, I purchased this module as well. This function works without a hitch. As well as the current speed, the video is tagged with the current GPS coordinates so you can see everything that is happening on the way. A very simple interface makes it easy As with the normal mount, the dashcam slides right on. In any case, it is definitely an affordable accessory when you consider that it only costs $21 and change. Considering it contains the location information as well as the proof of your speed at the time of an accident, it will be of great use to have in case you need it for legal purposes. Added an update. My recently purchased N4 camera also comes with a GPS receiver that I wanted to buy. Upon arrival, I found the N4 package in pristine condition and the camera brand new. I had no issues with the camera at all. It is notable, however, that the packaging and condition of the GPS receiver are not up to par. GPS receivers are typically shipped in boxes contained inside the white bubble bags commonly available at Amazon. The receiver box came out of the Amazon bag after I opened it. There was no evidence of damage to either the bag or box, but I noticed that the box had a huge hole in the side. I thought it got damaged during transit, but there was no sign of damage on the box either. My first step was to open the flaps of the box where it had already been opened and take out the receiver. In the box, we found no foam, cardboard, nor bubble wrap of any kind to protect the receiver from rattling around. Additionally, there were no instructions in the box the package contained nothing more than a receiver (extempt for the casing covering the suction part) inside the box. In the end, it is rather strange that a brand that puts so much effort into packaging its cameras did not do so well with the receiver that goes along with them. This is what I was thinking. There might be an item they're reselling that was returned. Upon examining the receiver, we noticed there were a lot of white particles on it, or dust of some sort. There looks to be a lot of white lint residue on the window after it was wiped down with a white rag. It looked as if a piece of plastic was taken off and reapplied to the sticky suction cup (that was not the case for the camera). My tests showed that it works. I cleaned up and tested it. As far as working conditions are concerned, everything appears to be fine. Due to the way it was received, time will tell how it works out. The biggest problem I have is that the item looked like a used return that the seller was trying to pass off as "new". When refurbished, the used condition is the same as new. The customer will know what they are purchasing and what to expect if they read the listing description. It is possible that the product I received is a lemon or that it was repackaged. No matter how I looked at it, I was very disappointed in how the receiver was packaged and in what condition it arrived My supplier informed me that the product is shipped and fulfilled by Amazon, which could explain the issues I was experiencing. ***********Update 09/16/2020 I was contacted by the supplier who said that the product is shipped and fulfilled by Amazon. I was also supplied with a free extension cord at no cost by the Supplier. Overall, it sucked that the product came the way it did and I can now tell if Amazon is to blame or the Supplier, however, the Supplier has been I am still happy with the product since it still works.

My review was so negative that I wish I could give it a higher rating. It's a good product, but it needs a lot more work. According to its purpose, it performs well. Also, the suction is much stronger than what I remember when I had my old N2 GPS receiver. However, the biggest complaint I have regarding this product was that, according to Vantrue to whom I spoke in regards to this issue, the model shown in the attached pictures is an *older model* than the one The only other reviewers that appear to have gotten the right product are other reviewers that had the same problem. My product was messed up 4 times through both customer support at the company and here at Amazon Customer Support. I liked the product, but this experience really colored my overall satisfaction.

GPS is a very helpful feature in the camera, as it appears on the screen along with the speed. On videos, when you take the video off the SD card, it works great! It's easy to use and easy to setup, and it came with the N4 dash, which is the best to buy.

I'm very pleased with the dash cams I have from VanTrue. I bought the N4 GPS mount for my new camera. The speed and location of the car are tracked. It took a minute or two to replace the original mounts. It is easy to mount on a window because of the suction.
