VIOFO Circular Polarizing Lens CPL Filter for Use with A129 Duo, A129 Plus Duo, A129 Pro Duo, A129 IR, A119 V3, A119

It makes a big difference when it comes to reducing glare from the dashboard and direct sunlight. I wish Viofo had included this feature with the camera from the start, because without it, a lot of footage could be rendered useless. The attached photos were taken at the same time of day, with no clouds in the way of the sun; the only difference is that the car is one parking space over in the second shot. If you're using a polarizing lens, I'd recommend bumping up the exposure a notch, especially for night driving, but the screenshots were taken with the exposure set to zero. Default value is zero.

(It's simple because there are only two sides. ) br>br>Second: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative A red line runs down the side of the lens, indicating that it should be adjusted by the manufacturer.
- Your camera should be turned on.
- For eyeglasses, take a microfiber or suede cloth and place it on both sides of the lens, then begin rotating it in small increments (keeping the RED line in mind). br>- Place it near your camera and rotate it to see how the image quality changes on the display screen.
- Remember where the red line should be to get the best results (mine is right at the gap between the lens and the frame)br>- Finally, clean the lens and replace it in the camera housing.

If you're like me and bought an Aukey DR02 dash cam instead of a Viofo but want a circular polarizer to cut down on glare, this is your part. When I was looking, I noticed the similarity between the lens housings and decided to take a chance, and the Viofo CPL clips directly onto the Aukey's lens housing. It is a perfect fit. Probably because the cameras share a lot of the same components.

When applied to the A119 series of dash cams, this lens filter reduces glare. Three cars have A119 dash cams that I've installed and counted on. The images from that camera are excellent, and with this filter, they are even better. It should come as part of the A119's kit.

When I first bought the camera, I didn't have this product, but after watching YouTube comparison videos with and without it, I bit the bullet and bought it. It makes a big difference in terms of glare, both at night and during the day, and it could mean the difference between getting the license plate number after a hit-and-run. a hit-and-run, or a clearer image of a crime that you might have missed due to glare.

I retested without the filter and, as expected, the issues disappear when the filter is turned off. Without the filter, the quality improves dramatically at night, so this thing is a waste of money for me. I'll send it back to you. *

I bought this filter for my A129 PRO Duo to cut down on glare and improve video quality at night. The quality of the night is dreadful. It appears to be very grainy, and I can see a lot of detail loss (camera is set to highest quality). During the day, the quality is what you'd expect from a 4k camera (even with the filter installed), with the exception that I see purple and magenta hues on the top of the video (mostly in the sky portion of the frame), which doesn't bother me too much as long as the road details are good (which they are). With the polarized filter on, there is a significant and noticeable difference at night (as in poor quality). I'll test the camera again without the filter to see if the quality improves at night (just to rule out the camera), but I'll probably return it if the video quality improves without the filter.

This VIOFO Circular Polarizing Lens CPL Filter was exactly what I needed for my a119V3 dash cam, and it works flawlessly. I'm now aware of details that I was previously unaware of. I attempted to correct my review as soon as possible, but it was unable to do so due to the system's requirements. I hope Viofo understands and is unconcerned about their product not receiving a 5-star rating; I am currently learning how to properly review a product in preparation for future reviews. I completely understand your frustration because I, too, am irritated by a review that does not accurately reflect the product but rather focuses on something else. Delivery.
