My testing shows that the card was formatted and the date, time, and loop time were all set correctly. It was after getting in my car for a later departure that the problem began. I turned it on, then it turned off after 12 seconds. It is the same when I turn it back on. To show how the power is shut off I included a video when I stopped. I feel that the device is very light, like it's just a simple board and camera enclosed in a light plastic case. It did not feel like a great deal to me on Amazon Prime Day, so I won't request another of these devices from Amazon. This may be a bad device, but I am distrusting the quality of the device for the price. Furthermore, asking for a good review leads to other people thinking they are getting a great deal. I usually work with the products I receive, but for the price.

My experience with the program is about a month old. Originally from South Africa, I have never owned a It wasn't easy to find the information I sought. Having done a little research, this is the camera that I have chosen. I received this order quickly through Prime. The car cam only runs when your car runs and you can easily disable the microphone. The screen dims after you switch it on. The settings have a lot to do with it. The one in my wife's car will be another one I buy. The new one will be like the old The installation of the camera was simple. There is a small sticky patch that goes on your windshield. The camera attaches to the sticky patch after it is installed. After the power cord is tucked away, you then connect it to your cigarette lighter in your headliner. A few minutes were all it took to install. The power cord I purchased has a USB plug on it, so I can charge my phone with it. I found the setup process to be pretty straightforward. My experience was that I had to use the quick start guide because it was not intuitive enough for me to simply use it. The playback worked fine for me. I played back the videos from my SD card using my computer. The video looked good and was of good Obviously, I would not replace my GoPro with this device. Depending on the settings, the video splices have varying sizes. There is not just a continuous stream of information. It is NOT the same as a 14 hour video of a 14 hour road trip. This is so worth the money that I make as compared with going to court. If I did not have it, I would have gone to court. One of its downsides is that the screen is very The screen can be turned off, but you don't know if it is on or off. The little on-button will not turn on the car by itself (when I turn the ignition on), so I must reach for it and turn it on. I've had it for almost a year and it wouldn't turn on by itself. Moreover, it does not retain its charge if it is disconnected from the power source. I first connected it to the power cable and it stayed turned on, so at first I could unplug it from the power supply. The fact that it has been plugged in for over six months means it doesn't work without that power cord. Overall, I would recommend getting a dash cam to everyone, but I'm not sure I would recommend this particular.
