It's a hard lesson to learn, but it does not work. The light in my car was working just fine, but in retrospect, I was recharging the battery day after day since I had been driving. I was late to work one Monday because I did not drive my car over the weekend, and my car wouldn't start on the Monday after that. This was the first thing I thought of when I noticed the problem and I assumed my battery was bad, so I replaced it (it was about $150). I wasn't driving my car for several days, so I thought it was fine. But, the weekend came around again, and I wasn't driving my car. Again, I had a dead battery. When I realized it wasn't the battery, it was a shock to the system. The car was checked by a mechanic to make sure there had been no other causes, and my car was found to be in good working order. He also said that my dash cam was causing the problem. By connecting this wire to an engine fuse, I was able to only use it when the engine was running. Since then, there has never been a problem. As a result, I was forced to pay $150 for a faulty item. A very frustrating experience. It's so bad that I can't even use the parking mode on my dash cam. This is horrible.

In my case, Veckle was an additional dashcam to my Veckle mini 906 During the past months, I have had a problem with my camera unexpectedly shutting down. When I contacted Veckle, they advised me to download a firmware upgrade that would not work. As I wrote in my blog, I blamed the system shutdown on a faulty dashcam, not realizing it was the hardwire kit from Veckle. In the process of purchasing another Veckle hardwire kit, I thought about getting another one. The item I wanted was out of stock, which was a fortunate event for me. Then I came across this hardwire kit and decided to give it a go. A 3-pole hardwire kit is included in the Veckle kit There is also the option of installing over wire. The one I'm referring to Four fuse taps were also included with this hardwire kit. Having a micro fuse in my 2014 Dodge Durango is a great idea. It is very difficult to locate the micro fuse tap. One of its major advantages was the fact that it included one. Despite the many benefits this kit offers, the only downside is that the red and black wires are too short. Upon opening the package, everything seemed to be in order. There is no instruction in the instructions that states which fuse goes in which hole. They just state to put the right fuse in the right place. How can I tell which is which? What do you know? Then I went to run the wire and found a constant "on" fuse slot, but found after a lot of hassle that the 90-amp fuse wasn't the right one An incorrect bend is present at the connection where the power supply plugs into the camera it is bent in the wrong direction relative to its plug-in. The slot in the machine is full. In the junction of the wire at the connector and the mounting bracket, a bend occurs, and so you cannot also have constant power and windshield camera mount. You must either have constant power and no windshield camera mount or the opposite. What a pain. don't understand why the power plug end has a bend in it at all. Straight should be the way to go. Since I wasn't able to install it until shortly after the return window closed, I had to wait past the 3 week point. Be sure to check whether or not the top and your window suction cup thing at your camera will work together before you buy this unit.

My SUV did not work properly with this upon initial setup, so I bought it to hook up a mini dashcam. Having the right angle micro connector was essential to keeping the footprint small on the windshield, and this seemed to be the most suitable choice. When I routed the nice flexible black usb type cable under the headliner/panels and behind the fuse box in the passenger footwell, I still had a good 18" of excess cable, so I zip tied it to the frame behind a panel behind the converter box. I did not have a problem installing the ground wire, and one of the fuse extenders fits perfectly however, the next challenge was mounting the fuse extender. As soon as everything was connected, there was no power to the camera, so I had to mess around with it until I found that the red wire connecting the converter to the fuse extender had broken Despite the fact that this wire is thin, it was held on to the clip by the plastic sheath, so it was difficult to see the damage. It was challenging to solder this in the footwell, upside down, but when I reconnected it, everything worked fine. If it took a long time to route everything and the vehicle lights were on, the battery may have dropped below the safety threshold, causing the converter to cut out.
