With four other marine kicker speakers, I used a Rockford 1000 watt marine amp, which worked perfectly. However, I'm going to add a 600 watt amp to this sub and may add another of the same size; I believe you'll be fine if you get a dedicated sub amp between 400 and 600 amps.

I would strongly suggest it. When we put it on our pontoon, it pushed a lot of bass! There are two subwoofers in this system, and it sounds incredible! Make sure your amp has enough watts and that you have special subwoofer connections by using 12 gauge speaker wire. You will not be dissatisfied with your purchase.
I can only get about 260 amps out of this amp, but it sounds great and gives my boat a nice thump.
That sounds really good, and I didn't expect it to be so small. a quick delivery.
On my old boat, it made the bass sound fantastic. For my new boat, I'll most likely purchase another.
Delivered quickly and in excellent condition the next day! Installing is a breeze! I have yet to discover a better sub system for sound and beats!.
