I connected these to my rockford amp and when I say these things hit they hit I bought these subs because I bought the rockford amp and that amp blew my kenwoods overall I have a way better setup comes exactly as the descriptions show and so far the subs can handle my amp I have 500 wattsbr>br>Well to update my review ins feb 2 and the worst has happened they blew only had them for 4 months guess a lot of the reviews are true I think Don't buy these if you already have a brand-name amplifier.
These speakers didn't appeal to me at all. They are terrible. There's no way I'm giving up control. They'll go up in smoke. Scar or power accoustics are available for purchase.
I know some people complain about them blowing, but I've had mine for two years and have had no issues.
To get the most out of your subs, I recommend getting an amp that will make everything sound good, as a bad amp will ruin the sound quality of your bass.
Bought in May of 2020, sounded good for a while before gradually losing their clear sound. Only lasted until October 2020, when both speakers blew.
In less than a month, the speakers had blown out. The quality of the sound that has been lost is only half of what it was previously. It was not worth the money.
The item arrived in perfect condition, and the finished product met expectations. I'm very pleased with it because it's perfect for the application.
I replaced the factory sub in my son's Mazda 6 with a Bose system with this. For a clean signal, I spliced in a Rockford Fosgate 500W mono amp right before the Bose amp. This Kicker sub box really shakes that little car, and it has a great sound and is very clean. My son and I are both very pleased with it.
