Just make sure you don't overpower it. I did, and it hasn't blown yet, but I'm confident it will. I've got 1500 watts connected to it, lol.
The ohm load indicates how much power your amp will produce. The sub's rms remains unchanged.
No, you can purchase a line out converter and use it to connect to the rear speakers, avoiding the need to switch radio stations.
Due to the fact that it is a single dvc with dual voice coil reread, it is a single dvc.
Selected User Reviews For Skar Audio Single 10" 1200W Loaded SDR Series Vented Subwoofer Enclosure | SDR-1X10D2
I purchased the 10" 600W RMS model. I'm currently using a Skar RP-based power supply. 800 1d. br>I'd say it hits hard enough for its size. Spring-loaded terminals come standard on the box, making installation a breeze. Despite the fact that it is a vented enclosure, I was able to fit it into my 2012 Dodge Charger and still have plenty of room.
The sub was fine until we hooked it up to a 1000w kicker class d amp. It was rated for 1200w max, so it should have been fine. Skar, if you see this, I know I didn't get a replacement plan, but it blew in the first two weeks. If you buy it, it can handle the power, but you have to be careful with the hard hits, which is what killed it.
I used a Planet Audio 1500 and a 10" 1200 Watt SDR enclosure. My son's Tahoe is worth a million dollars. I'm blown away by the sound quality, especially for a single 10" amp that costs so little. It reproduces deep, long bass notes very well, but falls short on the punchy bass front; this isn't necessarily a criticism of this subwoofer; I believe this is a problem with 10" subwoofers in general. My carpet had four distinct glue fingerprints, which was the only flaw in the construction. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat, and I'm extremely pleased with it. Skar, you did an excellent job!.
Even though it's only one ten, it sounds like two tens.
After properly breaking in the speaker for a couple weeks and then gradually increasing the volume for the next three to four weeks, I've had it for about two months or less now, and the speaker is very impressive. I got the 10 in D2 loaded enclosure one ohm. I was a little hesitant when reading reviews before I bought because anyone who claims they blow is either putting too much power into it or something I was a little wary of when I read reviews before I bought. I'm hoping that this second review will persuade those who are undecided to get this product while it's still affordable. I paired my SDR 10D2 with a Top Gear 1500 watt 1 channel class D amp, which is definitely too much power and I wouldn't recommend it, but it does push a true 1500 watts on one channel. Also, after breaking it in, I wanted a little more, so I paired it with a 10in Kicker Comp that was significantly less expensive, and it made all the difference. After using it every day and pushing it pretty hard and tuning it even more, I hope anyone who comes across this review buys what they want. I do recommend getting the loaded enclosures because they are built for the speaker and they are beautiful and all you have to do is hook it up. This is fantastic value for money. I'm just getting back into stereos after a decade or more away. I used to have a mmats class D high current 1700 watt amp with two 12-inch speakers. Yes, it was very impressive, but it was close to $3 $4,000 I bought this set up for under $300 in Rockford power hx2s in an eight cubic foot box made from Rockford box spec web page, and yes, it was very impressive, but it was close to $3 $4,000 I bought this set up for under $300. My truck can be heard from blocks away, and you can feel it in your chest, but you can't see out of your back window. Look in the mirror! I'll be buying another one because it's so good for the money. I didn't even buy their top-of-the-line sub, but I feel as if I did! Don't be the guy who leaves a bad review because you broke it in incorrectly Hopefully you get it in or a remote for your game that tells you when you're clipping run at low Bass for a couple weeks burping it here and there I'll admit I was a little rough on mine I'm a believer in breaking it in how you're going to use it but the reviews had me worried To summarize, I recommend that anyone using bye-loaded enclosures do not overpower the sub and break it in for at least two weeks before gradually ramping it up for the next three weeks.
I usually use alpine head units and rockford fogate subs and amps. This unit has a nice look to it, and I was hoping the sound quality was as good as it appeared. Because I couldn't find a sound bar with a sub to crank and do what I wanted, I used this at home. I'm currently running this sub on my own. I'm using a punch 500 fosgate bridged amp to power it. I'd also like to point out that I've spent my entire life competing in stereos, so I'm well-versed in this area. I'm blown away by how clean this sub sounds and how hard it hits; I'll say these will keep up if you don't want to spend more money on Rockford Fosgates. My truck has a set of rockfords, and they don't even come close to this. All in all, I give it a five-star rating.
This is a fantastic value for money subscription! Both the cabinet and the subwoofer are solidly constructed, which isn't always the case with modern manufacturers. This sub/cabinet combination is designed for SPL rather than SQ - This holds true for the vast majority of vented alignments. The cabinet is compact and tuned to a frequency of 39 hertz. Although I haven't looked at the T/S parameters, I believe a slightly larger cabinet and smaller vent would produce better sound quality. For the price SKAR is asking, I couldn't build a comparable quality sub (fit and finish).
Component speakers with tweeters and passive crossovers, measuring 5" in diameter. Set the amplifier to maximum volume and turn off all other controls. Country and 80s rock sound incredibly clean, crisp, and clear. SKAR IS OUT OF THIS WORLD!.
