For this purchase, I used Nigjt Owl HD Cams, which performed admirably.
I'm not sure, but I don't see why they wouldn't work if the connectors fit.

These cables have been thrown away in the trash can. To complete the eight camera system, I purchased a Night Owl HD system from Costco and additional cameras and cables from Amazon. The Night Owl cables were used on long runs through the attic, while the Hisvision aftermarket cables were used on shorter runs. In a hot attic, this is a massive undertaking. It was not enjoyable, but it was necessary. br>br>After installing the system, the video quality on some of the cameras was extremely poor. Three of the cameras had vertical lines of distortion moving across the images, one of which was intermittently black and white. I changed cameras, bought new ones, and even replaced the DVR, only to discover that it was the cheap Hisvision cables that were causing the problem. Each distorted image was corrected after I replaced them with Night Owl brand cables one at a time. br>br>Power and line signal are combined in a single insulated round cable in these Hisvision cables. The Night Owl is equipped with TWO side-by-side cables, one for power and the other for line signal. Clearly, the interference is caused by the cable's design. If you have a Night Owl system, save yourself some time and frustration by purchasing the higher-quality Night Owl cables. I can't speak for other camera systems, but I spent several days in the cramped, hot attic diagnosing and then running the cables (again). Hopefully, someone else will not have to go through what I did.
We bought this kit to supplement our 16-camera Defender 4K wired security system. There are two types of wire models, according to the Defender website: Model A (currently out of stock) and Model B are both available. We (obviously) require the Model A version, which is currently unavailable. br>br>Because these wires appeared to be universal, we decided to give them a try. However, the image quality wasn't great (just ok) and there were constant lines running through it (as if there was a bad connection despite everything being properly connected). The connectors that came with the kit performed admirably - The wire itself wasn't up to par. br>br>This kit is being returned because it does not meet our needs or perform as expected.
This is a fantastic offer. I didn't have to buy the adapters because it came with it. After removing the thin clear plastic wrap, look for the cord that runs through the center of the coils and pull it. You must feed the cord from the center of the coil, as it will inevitably dig into the outermost coils, resulting in tangles. br>Also, get the longest length you think you'll require. Most cameras can transmit a signal for up to 300 feet, but adding another extension to one you already have will degrade the signal. I had a 60-foot cable that ran the majority of the way to a 75-foot DVR. The top of the video image was distorted, and the rest of the screen was a little fuzzy after I added a 25' extension. I re- I ran the run with a 100' continuous wire (this one) and the signal was significantly improved, almost as if the camera was directly connected to the DVR.
I was able to reach out to the seller, and they are currently shipping out a replacement cord. br>br>I purchased the four-pack. It was simple for them to connect. However, only three of them were successful. I've been unable to reach the company to request a replacement cord, and I don't want to go up to the attic and unhook and return all four if only one is defective.
Wires are of good quality, the picture is excellent, and the system has been in place for quite some time - There were no issues, and it was a good value for the money. They come with small stickers (for the DVR or the camera) at the end. Sounds silly, but it's a lifesaver when you're trying to connect 8 cameras after a long day.
One of my Amcrest camera cables was chewed through by a mouse. I purchased this four-piece set and replaced one of them. Although it has a slightly larger diameter than the original, it appears to work well with a crisp image. We'll have to wait and see if the mice go after the new one!.
We spent a day pulling out cables, replacing cameras, hooking up monitors, and other tasks after Mother Nature decided to fry our security system. I wanted two cameras installed in new locations, but the cables that came with the new system were nowhere near long enough! I came across a cute little package of four 100-foot extensions for a great price, so I hooked everything up and was very happy with our purchase. The image quality is ten times better than that of an older, more expensive system! As dawn gives way to dusk and dusk gives way to dawn, there will be no more "fuzzy" photos! These are the very best. the- Thank you for providing such a great product at such a reasonable price!.
I have a Qsee system and had to replace four cables after they were cut. The Hisvision cables are an exact match for the originals. Plus, you'll save a lot of money. The cables were delivered quickly, in two days, and I was able to install them the same day they arrived. I was also able to move some cameras to better positions because these cables are 100 feet long (the original cables were 60 feet). The video quality is comparable to that of the 60-foot cables. Overall, a great deal!.
