For my home security, I had purchased another well-known DVR/camera combination that was so-called. So, until I saw a Tigersecu DVR-100, I thought I was satisfied. I bought the 5mp DVR NVR Combo from Tigersecu because it was a very affordable NVR combo, and I figured I'd add some different types of cameras later. My Bye DVR hooked right up to my existing cameras without a hitch and actually improves the look of everything AND the receiver is easier to use and navigate because it is so intuitive. The best part is that when I had a problem, the folks from Tigersecu were right there to stand behind their product. My first contact was sending an email and almost unbelievably, I got a call back from a young lady named Sandee who did a fantastic job. While I was working with Sandee on the troubleshooting, another issue arose: one of the two separate power supplies for each side of the 8 ch had failed. We were stumped for a day or two, but the Tigersecu team worked tirelessly until the issue was resolved. I received messages and phone calls from three different dedicated Tiger employees until my system was back up and running. A new power supply, which cost less than $20, was the solution to my problem. 00 ! br>THE TIGER TEAM RAISES THEIR VALUE AND SATISFACTION LEVELS.
I first purchased a power adapter from AC Doctor INc, but it resulted in smudged lines. Then I read a review that said it wasn't grounded and that I should get it from TigerSecu. br>br> The TigerSecu power adapter works. I now have a clear video feed from my Lorex cameras, free of any horizonal lines.
This is a heavy duty power supply for my security cameras. I bought some of the other brands and they ran hot and overheated and burned out. I run my system 24 hours a day and this power supply doesn't overheat and isn't hot to touch like the other brands I bought that burned out in a month.
Using this product, I was able to eliminate some single power supply sources, reducing the number of electrical cords cluttering the back of my 18-foot truck. Setup of a channel cctv dvr. However, because the unit couldn't handle any more cameras, I was only able to use four of the power splitters. Many of today's cameras require 1 or more amps of power to operate properly. As a result, the product's capabilities are severely limited with only 5 amps of maximum power. I gave it three stars because, despite its limitations, it did the job. I've used power supply boxes before, but they only last about two years on average, so I wanted to try something new in the hopes of getting a longer life out of it.
One of the spares died around the same time as my old DVR, so I swapped it out for a Tigersecu model and added this power supply. Everything works perfectly now that I only have one power cord instead of three. This is something I'd recommend to anyone with a similar setup who wants a single power source.
Despite the fact that there are nine power wires, the thin wires are sufficient for my eight camera system. One of the power wires was acting up, causing the camera to have static/lines/blurry video, so I simply switched it to another power wire. Worth the money. Note: Do not use this to power the DVR unit; instead, use a direct line. I've had this for a while and it appears to be working fine.
existent! I bought two of these on July 20, 2021, and as of today, October 14, 2021, one of them has already died, while the other is displaying squiggly lines across the screens, just like the other did just before it died. You'll have a hard time contacting anyone about the ostensibly one-year warranty. Complete nonsense and a complete waste of time and money! br>I finally reached out to customer service, who informed me that these power supplies are only designed to run three computers. There are four cameras in total. So they're aware that they're selling a subpar product that has been mislabeled, and they promised to refund my money, which I have yet to receive. Scammer!.
Using multiple adapter supplies is a much riskier option. br>Has the capability to handle up to eight cameras without risk of failure or fire.
