The wire receptor is shown in the main product photo as having a ribbed and open slot. A smooth plate and a spring clip must be pushed out of the way by the wire in the parts I received. For a comparison, look at my photo. I'm looking for the old-fashioned kind! They're designed for small gauge stranded wire, which these aren't. Every company appears to be using the same factory and producing the same garbage. Is there anywhere I can get a hold of the old model? The Chanzon part I finally decided on is B079RBL339, which you can find at Item B079RBL339 on Amazon.

It's a great product that's simple to set up and does its job. Normally, it's used to connect and interrupt CCTV systems, but I used it to connect and interrupt a solar power lamp.
