Fits the Benro Tripster Series 0 but not the Tripster Series 1

The Tripster Series 0 is where I purchased this. I couldn't wear it. When I emailed Benro tech support, they replied "Because of it 2-" Due to their wide section center column, the Tripster center columns were a little wider (22mm) than the standard 0 Series (20mm). I'm sorry, but there are none available in 22mm. Approximately 24mm (the next size is 24mm)" Two Stars because this information wasn't provided in the But Benro tech support was very responsive. I'll be returning the product.

The cost of writing a short column is high

It includes no instructions and I have no idea what the slot on the back is for. It also features some internal 3/8" threads at the bottom. It is fitted with one of the rubber feet, I guess, so as to keep it from hitting the ground when sat low. baseplate of this chair is made of hard plastic covered with aluminum or magnesium, and it encloses three set screws to keep it upright. From the top of the baseplate to the tip of the top rail, it measures 5 1/4". Considering the aluminum one is only $15 more than the plastic one, I'm not sure it's worth it. I might return it and get the plastic one instead.

This fit is also suitable for the Gitzo Mountaineer Series 3! After losing my short center column on my Gitzo Mountaineer Series 3 and hearing that Benro parts fit the Gitzo, I decided to get one from Benro

I did not only get a perfect fit but the bag hanger also screwed into it, too. Despite looking and being the same exact part as the Gitzo part, this part is priced less than half of the Gitzo part. I highly recommend it.

The Benro Series 2 tripods can then be taken down really low with the equipment. This is an optional accessory that you should have purchased with your tripod. No matter what you shoot, you will need this unless all you shoot are portraits of people seated.
