My 3 pound Nikon P1000 has a stable platform to rest on
4/5

(About a month ago, I purchased this tripod. ) I wanted one without a liquid ball head because I already have one (I use this tripod primarily with my Nikon Coolpix P1000 camera, but it can also be used with my Nikon Coolpix B700 when necessary). br>br>The tripod is made of aluminum and measures approximately 22 inches in length. When collapsed, it measures about 5" long and weighs around 3 oz. 6 lb. It isn't the smallest or lightest, but I chose it because I wanted to ensure that my P1000 was supported properly. It comes with a carrying bag and includes a monopod and a carrying handle, among other features. It has a capacity of 4 kg (8. It can handle the 3 because it's 8 pounds. With no problems, I was able to lift 1 pound of P1000. The height is 70" with the center column and all leg sections extended, but I can adjust it to fit my height (5'-0") better. 5" without extending the shortest and thinnest leg sections For all of the photos, that's how it's set up. I was relieved to discover that I could zoom the P1000 to its maximum without experiencing any downward tilting of the camera due to mechanical slop in any of the tripod's holding mechanisms (first three photos). Now that I've established this, I won't be using my liquid ball head in the field because I've discovered that the tripod itself allows the camera to be scanned smoothly, saving me a pound. Looking ahead, I decided that it would be more comfortable if I could adjust my setup so that the P1000's weight was more closely aligned with the tripod's central axis at maximum zoom. This would relieve some of the strain on the tripod's 1/4"-inch-thickness legs. The tripod's proprietary (non-Arca Swiss) design quick release (QR) plate has a 20 attachment stud embedded in it. After doing some research, I discovered the following three items, which when combined created the setup I was looking for. Item 1 is a 1/4"-wide attachment. The QR plate that comes with the tripod has a 20 attachment stud that allows for a 3/8"-thickness attachment. Item 2 requires 16 studs to be attached. When connected to Item 1, Item 2 acts as a clamping adapter for standard Arca Swiss QR plates, such as Item 3. The 1/4"- Item 3's 20 stud can be moved back and forth in the central slot of the elongated Arca Swiss QR plate to any desired position before being attached to the camera and clamped in Item 2. This set up can be seen in the fourth and fifth photos. br>br>1) Rock Steady SS Stainless Steel 1/4" to 3/8" Bushing Adapter (Haoge 64mm Screw Knob Clamp Adapter Mount for Quick Release QR Plate Camera Tripod Ballhead Monopod Ball Head Fit Arca Swiss (Haoge 120mm QR Quick Release Plate Dual Dovetail and D-Ring Mount for Quick Release QR Plate Camera Tripod Ballhead Monopod Ball Head Fit Arca Swiss Arca-compatible ring screw Tripod Ball Head (Swiss Standard).

For the money, this is an excellent tripod
5/5

A non- This tripod was purchased by a professional photographer friend of mine, and I decided to give it a try after my much more expensive professional brand was recently stolen. When I shoot news, sports, and features for a local newspaper, I rarely use a tripod. Here's what I've discovered about Regetek: It's sturdy, simple to use, transport, and set up and take down. I'm not a nature or wildlife photographer, so it's a little heavy for long hikes. This tripod comes highly recommended by me for amateurs and professionals alike.

I have a Canon T6i that I use this on and it's fantastic
4/5

Action shots that are very fluid. Much more durable than the kit stand I was using previously. I have a Canon T6i that I use this on and it's fantastic. Smooth action shots, and you can set this to a very high level for over-the-shoulder shots. br>br>The legs are thick and keep the camera steady, and they even have a hood from which you can hang a bag for extra stability. I also like that the camera can be taken apart and the pole can be removed, making it very portable. They also come with a phone holder for live streaming or taking selfies. br>br>Everything is simple to adjust and feels extremely safe. I couldn't be more pleased!.

My first use was videoing a marching band competition from the top of the announcer's booth, and I was very pleased with the product and customer service
5/5

On a very windy day, I stayed up for 14 hours. With the exception of the strongest wind gusts, the tripod remained stable throughout the day. Even so, it only swayed a little. br>br>On top of the tripod's quality, I can't say enough good things about the customer service; I had a question about my tripod, which was handled quickly and efficiently. This is only a query. Regetek responded almost immediately after I emailed them. I'm not going to get into the specifics, but to say they exceeded my wildest expectations would be an understatement. Regetek is a brand that I will continue to purchase.

This is a nice tripod with a couple of unique features not found on all of them! This tripod is absolutely fantastic
5/5

I don't see how I won't be able to accomplish something with this. The monopod will come in handy; switching from the tripod to the monopod is as simple as loosening the nut, sliding it out, rotating to unlock the extensions, sliding to desired length, tightening again, and you're done! It only takes about 30 seconds to complete the list I just made! That is simply unbeatable! Just a word of advice: when you first set it up, go through and tighten things like the monopod, pull it out, make sure it's in the fully compressed position, and give it a turn (righty tighty, lefty loosey). Then, while you're at it, tighten the camera mounting head. This way, everything is secure, which is helpful while learning about panning, tilting, and other techniques; otherwise, it appears that something is wrong when all it is is a loose connection. It's definitely a difference between night and day. br>Now, when I first received mine, the storage bag had a small tear in the seam; I contacted Regetek, and they responded within a couple of hours, quickly resolving the issue! I exchanged a few emails with them, all of which were extremely pleasant! Anyone looking for a good tri/mono pod should consider this company and this tri/mono pod. I am 100% satisfied with my dealings as well, but I wish more places took customer service as literally as Regetek do! br>I hope this information aids you in making your choice. Thanks!
PS. The "couple features" include a built-in level and a tilting camera base that can be tilted to a 45-degree angle both front and back. If you get it, you'll understand what I'm talking about. If you ever need to readjust not only front to back level without adjusting your legs, but also left/right balance, this is the tool for you. The hook is perfect for hanging my additional solar battery cell for my phone, I can position it towards the sun to keep a full charge on my cell/camera while also keeping the solar cell fully charged, gives me infinite recording abilities, well, memory, etc. plays a part in that. But I have a 200GB SD card, so I'll be fine! Have a wonderful day, and happy shopping!.
