Yes, a Canon T6 will undoubtedly benefit from it.
Unless you buy it as a kit, which is more than $40, the older $40 one does not come with a ball head.
I make a mount from a selfish stick, use it to hold the phone, and then attach it to this gorillapod.

I found the less expensive version and began reading the reviews, and one in particular caught my eye. It advised me to spend the extra money on this one, and I am glad I did. I have some smaller knockoffs that I use for old iPhones, but they aren't as reliable or sturdy as I'd like. That's fine for an old iPhone 4, but not when your camera rig includes glass and a microphone, which costs more than $1,000. br>br>Prosbr>br>Very sturdybr>Very versatilebr>Can go from handheld to chain link fence attachment in less than 30 seconds. br>br>Consbr>br>I haven't found any yetbr>br>It handles my DSLR with ease and does a good jobbr>br>It handles my DSLR with ease and does a good jobbr>br>It handles my DSLR with ease and does a good jobbr>br>It handles my DSLR with ease and does a good jobbr>br>It handles my br>br>Please press that button for me if you found this review helpful. br>br>This is not a paid review, and I was not given a discount in exchange for reviewing this product.
I bought the 3k kit a little more than a year ago. Because I use it at home to make YT videos, it usually just sits on my desk, with no folding or use. I almost never move the legs around when I store it because I keep it in the same stand position as when I'm recording to keep the angle consistent when I set it up again. br>br>Fast forward to last week, when my legs suddenly give out in the middle of a recording session. Imagine my surprise when I looked closer and saw that the joints that had failed had cracked apart, despite the fact that I rarely move my legs, so stress fractures on the joints are unusual. br>br>I contacted Joby customer service, who informed me that I should not have purchased from an "unauthorized seller" such as Amazon, and then directed me to the MANFROTTO website, which has a list of unauthorized sellers. That's fantastic, because I ALWAYS look at the MANFROTTO website before buying a JOBY product. *palms his face* So they're using that as an excuse to not warranty the product, despite the fact that their warranty page claims that customers are important to them and that they go above and beyond - Not all customers, I suppose, and they'll stop at typing "no. " br>br>I used it with a Sony A7III and a Sony 24-70mm lens. 105 pounds, which is well below their claimed weight limit of 3 kilograms. Don't support companies that don't care about their customers after they've purchased something.
or make a selfie stick by bending all three legs. This is the ideal pod for vlogs on YouTube where you want to do run and gun shooting. The ball joints on the new 3k/2k/1k/5k models have improved glue, so they won't come loose as quickly as they did on previous generations. The ballhead's panning mode is ideal, and it'll come in handy for those cinematic shots. The material is excellent and feels extremely solid in my hands; my DSLR did not budge at all while on this pod. br>Leave it to Joby to come up with a fantastic product!.
I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to do so in this case. This was purchased about a month ago. I only used it twice before the leg snapped off while I was attempting to use it. I'm really disappointed because this wasn't the most affordable option. Be cautious of this low-cost item.
It was three weeks before I was able to find my way back. On July 2, I made a purchase. It's now July 31st, and the situation has already devolved. I only used it a few times before the base that holds the camera to it completely disintegrated and broke. For the three weeks that it worked, it was useful and entertaining. However, this is not the case.
I'm extremely disappointed! On my trip to Patagonia, I had to carry this bulky item. I bought this 3K with the intention of using it with my Sony A6500. It never stood a chance, as it broke after the third use. I used it with my GoPro for the first three times. The third time I tried to wrap it around the tree, one of the legs broke and fell into the water. That was a surprise. I almost lost the GoPro, but I managed to catch it before everything fell apart. I've read a lot of positive reviews and watched a lot of videos on YouTube. I was really looking forward to taking it to Patagonia and getting some great shots with it. It became a 1 once the leg was broken. For 8 days and 50 miles of hiking, you'll need an 8 pound dead weight. This made me very angry because it was non-functional and took up a lot of space and weight. When hiking in the woods, there are two essential items to have. It's a good thing I didn't use it with my Sony A6500 camera.
I originally purchased this to take on a backpacking trip. I ended up tossing it out before leaving because it was far too bulky and heavy, but I kept it in my car for car camping photography. For my specific use of quick deployment, it works better than my Alta and Manfrotto tripods. It's small enough to fit in my trunk or a doorwell when I'm driving. You can ditch the 3K kit head and use any ball head you want, as long as it can support a DSLR (I use it with my RX1R mkII). When I'm doing night photography on the side of the road in my car, it fits perfectly and stays put on top of my car. I can now pop my sunroof and simply place the assembly on top of my car. It's much more convenient than having to set up to the side with a full-size table. I can leave the system fully assembled and deploy it quickly if I'm roaming around looking for different shot locations at night.
