It is necessary to loosen the screw holding the lamp attached to allow it to be rotated.
This will depend on the size and weight of it, but I would not

The product does what it was described to do! My focus was on making sure the design was not a cheap one where there would be welds before the screw holes, but it's a solid one. There's only one thing you have to do in terms of installation. It needs to be aligned diagonally, meaning that it's diamond shaped and The awesome device is over 1 1/2 inches so there is no logical way to hit the stud properly, so I let it hang so I can get the second lower screw hole to hit the stud and at least I have two screws in it. For the other screw holes, install the anchors and run two screws in and you're That's a great tool and it's a really sturdy one. I hung my flashpoint 1220M studio lights from it and that made it a lot more As a final step, throw away those silly black screws when you receive the package. It is 100% pointless to do that. Be sure to use real screws like the 1 3/4" and 1 1/2" screws so the studs will bite into the screw.
It's a great purchase, I'm pleased with it! Thank goodness I was able to get rid of the tripods that I've used for the past year to hold my lights. Quite a bit of space has been freed up in my studio from this! The only complaint I have is that the mounts didn't come with very good screws and drywall anchors for the drywall. The screws that came with the mounts were not the biggest consideration for me, as I usually have plenty in my toolbox. However, I would advise against using just those screws. In spite of this, I am very satisfied with the quality of the mounts and would certainly purchase them again.
They are well built and sturdy mounts that let you attach a light to a wall or It's nice that there are two screws that attach the spigot to the mounting plate (thus, nothing can accidentally spin off a bolt and knock the light off). I've uploaded a few photos to show how the construction was done. This may be helpful to others who are shopping I would appreciate it if you would click on Please accept my thanks.
My plan was to mount Neewer NL 660 led light panels to the wall using these little babies. This review has been attached with a photo. There's no doubt in my mind that these will make their way into my junk drawer. Returning would be a waste of time and effort for me. It's possible that these little doodads will prove useful to me someday Hopefully one day I will be a dad. I purchased them for a specific purpose, and they are not up to that task.
They were bought so that my LED light strips could be removed from their floor stands so that we could reclaim our small studio space. The screws were placed in an X shape so that at least two of them went into the studs. They've been hanging for a year or so and are still holding together. The price was $10 bucks, and I think they are.
You could put this on the wall and point the mini projector at the ceiling of the bed - and that's exactly what my 5-year-old is doing - she has A for Adley on her ceiling and she's laying on it as she reads a book. Lol (I use a Nebula Capsule projector) this mount can hold so much weight, it is so.
An issue would have made this a perfect 5, but it is not. There were several screws that failed, almost causing my monolight to break. This product is made well, but anchors would make them more useful. It appears that other reviewers had noted this as well. After buying an anchor set at a local hardware store, I got it to work, but that mishap could have been avoided. As soon as they are set, they work fine.
This company did exactly what I needed and did it for a reasonable price. They were used only to mount my ring light to my ceiling so I did not have to have a separate light stand taking up floor space, and they fit the bill.
