Selected User Reviews For Kupo Convi Clamp with Adjustable Handle - Black (KG701511)
A Kupo Convi Clamp allowed me to mount audio equipment such as recorders, LED lights, softboxes, backdrop poles, and so on in confined areas where tripods and light stands are inaccessible. I'm amazed that it can hold such a heavy weight like my Linco Flora Light bank or Yongnuo LED without flinching, clamping tight onto any typical tube or board. My older Manfrotto Super Clamp is not very different from the Kupo Convi clamp, which also seems to be similar. The two clamps were cast aluminum and are built to last. There is a slight difference in weight between the two and the plastic T-clamps on the Manfrotto. With Italian screw handles rather than Chinese ones, and with a hexagonal pin with a 3/8" stud, this model is shipped with. It costs $30 to buy the Kupo, so you'll need a baby pin or hexagonal stud to attach anything to it, but it's well worth the money. There are metal handles on the furniture. The Manfrotto hexagonal studs are an ideal match for the Kupo, so accessories can be interchanged. When I use these clamps on the pipes, they're the perfect fit.
Whether it's a tool or a device, we start with a Clamp & Lock. You can pin it. Our brand portfolio includes a variety of products. This one appears to be the best. It makes me happy to think about this. It has a lot of versatility and is very tough. The total number of them is four. A woman did a hole in her arm and stuck a Shure SM7b out the other end of it The mount is truly being tested to the limit! second one, which holds a camera rig, is located on the right hand side, while the third one hangs from the ceiling. It would be wise for you to purchase This is a trip you will not regret. I don't think so Neither Kupo nor I are sponsored!.
The wide base provides great stability, and the long tightening arm gives you a lot of leverage to secure the jaws and hold them firmly in place. With the wedge adapter, you can provide a flat surface or remove it to grab onto round objects such as handrails and It is easy for me to mount up to 10 pounds of gear on this clamp. This clamp proves useful for me when going to places where tripods are not allowed and I have limited access to a tripod.
It (the Kupo clamp) is designed to fit the Kupo Grip Head with the hex stud perfectly. They can be used together to mount pretty much anything on any other surface. As the clamp grips to a leg or side (such as a tripod leg, a video light pole, table side, etc), the grip head will hold any extension or bar. I personally use these with carbon fiber pipes (you can also use plastic, aluminum) to accurately place fill light and microphones where they are needed. Reduces the time it takes to rig the lights in comparison to It takes just seconds to set up and take down.
I would say that it is not the best clamp, but it does the job and has a feature that the Manfrotto clamp does not have (the ratcheted handle). So, you know, that's really cool.
The fit and finish are superior to my Impact version, but I like the length of the lever handle better on the Impact brand. As compared to the Kupo, its lever is short.
The strength of this is exceptional.
