All stands, c stands and anything that has a baby pin works with this solid grip head. Having everything you might need to rig something on set in your bag makes life easier. The baby pins I made for connecting my computer table to the other stands I have with baby pins have served me well. Using this, my table can rotate as the grip part turns, allowing me to move and adjust its angle as needed. It's nice to have the locking but on the avenger head that can be moved to two positions, unlike some of the other heads that you see (Matthews). However, I usually wear gloves when using stands, so it's not entirely necessary. The better grip and the tightening of the cord is a benefit of it.
As of yet, I have not encountered any problems with this grip head. There were two of them in my purchase. To apply for my flat lay photography, I use one for holding my camera overhead. So far everything is working fine. On the other side is a large panel that diffuses the light. This is doing a good job as long as I trust it to hold my camera together.
The finish and casting on the arm are coarse, and the shaft on it that I purchased separately from the same company has the wrong diameter! I have thrown away the arm, the finish and casting are coarse, and the operation is sticky! There will be no lights on it, so it will be.
It is likely that at least one more of these grips will be required if you have the stand. With the stand and the grip system, all kinds of equipment can be held comfortably There are soft boxes, umbrellas, flashes, lights, diffusers, etc. I find everything from Avenger to be very easy to use and adjust.
The only complaint I have with Avenger is that everything This either means that it was used and not checked, or that they simply do not bother to clean it up before packaging. Aside from being greasy, dirty, and soiled, the stand and the table inside were covered in sawdust. Definitely not what they are or what they In spite of the fact that it's dirty, this equipment is really top of the line!.
My only purchase was to hold my boom pole for audio recording, so it does the job, but it does not seem to be as durable as other professional grip heads I have used previously. Italy is where it's made. It's possible that I expected better quality since Matthews knuckles are usually of higher quality. Die cast metal is visible on it, and it does not feel very durable as I would like for use with heavier gaffing jobs, but for my purposes, it's fine.
Let me know what you have to There is a reason that it is an industry standard.
While it's fine, I wish the handles were larger like the ones on the Kupos, but it still works fine.
