Swift SW380B 40X-2500X Magnification, Siedentopf Head, Research-Grade Binocular Compound Lab Microscope with Wide-Field 10X and 25X Eyepieces, Mechanical Stage, Ultra-Precise Focusing

Several years ago, I bought a different Swift microscope (SS300B) that I loved and, in fact, donated for a charity event at the school. With the new SW380 model coming out, I decided to give it a try, and I am pretty amazed at how well it performs, especially for its price. As owners of professional microscopes, both my wife and I wanted to provide our kids with a good microscope for them to look at biological specimens, rather than the typical kids' junk quality Despite the good magnification of this model, it is easy to work with, has smooth controls, 4 objectives, and 2 sets of eyepieces, LED illumination, a good quality mechanical stage, and fine/coarse As for the price, it is reasonable. I found it interesting to see their first reactions to the microscopic world by looking at the samples made from everyday objects (water from the tap, saliva sample).

Despite the fact that it was shipped in very well-packaged cartons, the microscope was not damaged This product was sent in excellent condition, with all sensitive parts being protected by shrinkwrap. It was extremely easy to put together thanks to the clear instructions. High magnifications did not impair the clarity of the pictures. As far as the controls for moving the slide left to right went, they were similar to those on any other microscope. The right way and up in the sky- Turn the page. There were no problems with the controls and the magnifying glass even at higher magnifications was smooth. A plastic cover is provided on the scope which holds the two sets of lens storage bags and prevents dust from collecting on the lenses and their storage bags. I have nothing to complain about. I appreciate the price for the scope of this microscope. It will serve all my purposes as a primary care physician as well as amateur mycologist.

I was glad to receive it quickly and in good condition. I appreciate the additional lenses since the product has an intuitive setup. The product is well made and the setup is easy to understand. This is very sturdy, but is not so heavy that it would be difficult Even when there is jostling movement nearby, it does not move. The lighting is highly adjustable and offers a crisp view. Students, teachers, and professionals would benefit from using this product.

Although I am using it just for fun, I think you could use it for more serious work as well. In addition, the slide/specimen is placed on the stage in a precise and convenient manner. As well as having smooth and precise focusing, the camera is well suited for use with hand-held cameras. When you apply the coarse adjustment, you get the specimen into basic focus, and only then can you apply the fine adjustment to fine-tune or move the focus up and down. In a thicker specimen, you can see up-and-down. There is surprising value in using the binocular view of the two objective lenses. Being able to examine the specimen with both eyes is appealing to me. Even more options are available, including an objective mount that can rotate to share the view with someone next to you or across the table from you! You lock it in place with a set screw knob once it has been put into place. Depending on your preferences, the LED illumination of the specimen can be bright or not so bright. Through the use of the Abbe condenser, which is between the LED and the specimen, you can even control how concentrated the light is on the While I still have some questions about what exactly the Abbe condenser does, it seems to be a very useful addition. I have proof in my photos, so feel free to look at them. I think this microscope is pretty good. It is easy to use, and it produces crisp and clear images. The 40x objective lens is dirty but I found it to be adequate. Once my Kim wipes arrive, I will be able to clean it off.

I had a hard time deciding which microscope to get, and so many scopes on Amazon do not have pictures from real For this reason I wanted to send you images of the microscope to let you know what excellent quality it has. It is on 400x that the image is closest. Although I have not used the 1000x oil objective lens yet, I plan to do so soon. It is highly recommended that you buy a box of microscope slides, kimwipes, and a smartphone adapter along with this.
