Questions & Answers

What makes this 40x plan objective different from the $48 amscope 40x plan objective with knurled ring? 99?

I'm not sure what I'm saying. Why don't you get in touch with AmScope?

Is this objective compatible with a ch2 microscope from Olympus? I'm guessing the threads are the same, but I'd like to double-check. ?

I only own an AmScope microscope and have never used an Olympus. Although the threads are likely standard, why not check with Olympus and AmScope to be sure?

In comparison to the stock 40x objective, this one is a significant improvement
5/5

As an upgrade from the stock lens, it's well worth the money. Excellent value for money. "High-resolution" scopes are recommended for any bright field scope. viewing that is "dry".

This objective lens is much sharper than the stock 40X objective, and it has a flat field of view

It's a fantastic objective lens for the money, and it's unquestionably a good
5/5

One of these is where I do the majority of my bacterial, smaller protozoa, and miscellaneous tiny microbiology work. I can't speak to how they compare to, say, a $300 professional objective, but I can say that they are a significant improvement over the stock objective on my Amscope M600a. One point to consider: it's BIG. It's a beast; it's about half an inch longer than the stock 40x objective, and even though I've found a workaround, I still have to remind myself to drop the stage focus way down when rotating it into position, lest I crunch my slide. If I were doing it right, I'd replace them all as a set and save myself the bs, and then either repurpose the stock objectives into weird projects (webcam microscope! yay! ) or try to recoup your investment by selling them on eBay. In any case, it's a fantastic objective lens for the money, and it's a great upgrade from a stock, low-cost lens. It's a decent scope, but not so expensive that it'll put you out of business. In fact, if you search for this item on eBay and then compare it to the Amazon price, you'll be pleasantly surprised. NR417, Rick NR417, Rick NR417, Rick NR417, Rick NR417, Rick NR417, Rick.

This is a fantastic enhancement
5/5

The standard objective on my AmScope B490B microscope was replaced with this objective. When using a standard objective, the area around the center of the field becomes increasingly out of focus as you move away from it. The entire field is in focus with this plan objective, making for a much more enjoyable viewing experience. br>br>I should also mention that AmScope's standard shipping is quick; this order arrived in three days.

The objective lens is truly planar and has a 40x magnification
5/5

When I compared the image produced with a standard 40x objective, I realized that the extra money was well spent. Image that is clear, sharp, and contrasty.
