Some of its parts are made of plastic and some of them of metal.

The smallest thing you can see is how small is this? X- chromosomes can be seen, but what about Y-chromosomes?

Please accept my sincere thanks for asking. Yes, this microscope can see chromosomes at about 1000 times the normal magnification. Thank Please do not hesitate to contact us if there is anything else we can assist you with. The best regards and thanks of Swift Official Customer Service, Susan

It is a good value for the price
5/5

It does not resemble the $5000 Olympus dual head microscope that I use in my work as a pathologist and I would not expect it to be alike. As a teaching microscope, it is quite good for the price. I did not try the oil immersion, but the objectives and optics are good enough so that what can be seen through the scope is decently sharp with good resolution and good resolution with a 40x objective. As far as I can tell, there is little or no artifact in the condenser, nor does the light pass through it with tissue refraction artifact. It might be possible to adjust the light balance, but I don't see any fixing method. Although it could be a bit brighter, the light in the room is adequate. Do you think this would be useful for diagnosing a patient? Not at all. In any case, students or basic microscopists will be more than satisfied with the kit.

I love it so much that my wife loves it too

These products are used for entertainment and to explore the properties of water, blood, and other For the money, this is an outstanding microscope. I know the tone is a little stiff, but it's all one shot.

It works great and the customer service is great! My excitement when I received this microscope was great
5/5

I tried plugging it in and opened it, but when it was plugged in, the light never came It breaks my heart to be The following update has been made My company contacted me and kindly sent me a new one. The light works fine now, have used it for a while I can say that this is a good quality microscope, easy to operate, with wide, clear optics that focus easily. There is a lot I would like to see and explore and I can't wait to see more. My microscope led to some nice shots, which I have attached.

Bacteria can easily be identified with this device
4/5

We had to test if the correct strain of bacteria was in the yogurt before making it. In addition, I was making mayonnaise and needed to check the ratio of the oil and water and droplet size. This time, there was a piece of fuzz in the splitter optics making a blob in the lower right corner I think you'll have a hard time getting to it in order.

The microscope is one of the best ways to magnify an image if you have a computer or tablet
5/5

Microwaves are a lot of fun! Then again, micro biology was so much fun to me when I was a kid. I'm 55 now and devote a lot of time to this.

The product can be used for education purposes at home and in the classroom
5/5

It wasn't necessary for me to buy anything that was overly powerful since I was going to do basic science education at home. My family found this to be a great deal for the price.

A review is now available - Do a double take, submit a single time
4/5

Here is the latest update on my initial The review I submitted is being changed from a 1 to a 2 From a 4-star to a 3-star Due to the fact that I found the slides on the same day, I gave it a five-star review. As I was unpacking the microscope, I didn't realize that the slide boxes were taped to the outside of the protective case. When I opened the third box, I realized they had fallen off, but I hadn't noticed it until much This was another error on my part. The order has been delivered without a hitch. My purchase has now officially been approved I am glad to have made this We are both happy, and so is the giftee )
I'm grateful that the seller reached The fact that they value customer service is very important to me.

(original This item will be a gift for my family during the holiday season. The item was in perfect condition when I received it. I received it within the specified time frame. CONS, however, include As I was unpacking it today, I noticed it didn't come with the 100 blank slides and the 50 paper to clean the lens. The reason I am reviewing it 1 star is because of the reasons stated above. If a microscope does not have slides, what good is it? The pros include Even so, I did get a copy of the cover slips.

This is a great opportunity for the money, and then some
5/5

got the used scope from Amazon, it arrived without a power cord. It was easy to find a power cord in my computer supply drawer, there was no explanation for the lack of a power cord, and no response to email contact from Amazon and Swift. In terms of scope, it's a good proposition. It does not come with a heavy base like others on the market, so it is It is very bright and clear using a glycol wet slide mount. The aperture is large enough to allow more than enough light in, and the diaphragm is useful as it serves its purpose. It is mechanically sound. Some of the rotation of the head can be rough at times, but I like the way the oculars work, it's smooth when moving them. As seen by the eye I haven't tried the 25 power with an oil yet, but pieces appear to be okay. The general picture is this. Considering how much it costs, this is a really good scope. The stage has a mechanical focus, there are no restrictions on the fine focus, and it is light enough to take outside Being an old biology / medical person who has now retired, I miss the act of microscopy. This is helpful to me. There is the possibility of spending more. However, I cannot see the point of a device like this in a home hobby, or for someone searching for an inexpensive microscope that's better than much of the crap out there at a lower price range. THIS IS A REALLY GOOD MICROSCOPE. I USED ONE IN college that was better than some I used in college. You should not fool yourself with the 380. The 350 can be used for any purpose without the photo-editing features One has to deal with 'tube', which is another thing to mess.
