Questions & Answers

This might be able to go with a Celestron PowerSeeker ?

With this bag I carry my Celestron Omni XLT 150 telescope. I was able to fit the ota, tripod, and weights For the cg, I have another bag The mount has four holes. You may be able to fit the whole set up in the PowerSeeker since it comes with a smaller tripod and mount, and your OTA will also be smaller. It is the weight that causes me the most problems. There is a weight to my equipment of about 30 pounds. The weight of the dog is 45 pounds. As far as I can tell, yours is only approximately as big as mine. If this bag works for you, then it should be suitable

What are the compatibility issues of this case and a Nextar or Cosmos 90GT case?

If you put a little effort into it, you can get a Nextar SE into the case.

What would this look like on a Power Seeker ?

Your email has been received. Thank you. This case should be able to accommodate the Powerseeker 114AZ.

This would fit in an Omni XLt 120, and also a tripod, would it not?

You can close up the back of the scope so that it does not impede the view. Then put the tripod on its front in front of it, so it will not be so heavy.

Here are the instructions for packing (let me know if you have a better way)
4/5

Despite its shortcomings, this is still a good It was a bit difficult for me to figure out how to pack it, and I couldn't find any instructions online. I have attached some pictures of how I did 1.

Mount the tripod
2. Remove the mount from the tripod. The counterweights need to be removed. 2.
You can secure the counterweights by using the Velcro loops at the largest end of the bag. I. 4. Attach the two round tube clamps with the screwholds for the counterweights facing up toward the zipper on either side of the counterweights. This is *br5. It is best to place the top end of the tripod closest to the mount, so that you can easily reposition it around the mount as necessary. I. Complementary content. Between the legs, lay the triangular triangle. The 7th point. Laying the tool bag on top of the tripod legs, I put tools, a spotting scope, and eyepieces in it. In spite of the narrower base of the bag, I placed the scope in the smaller side, in the middle, where theres plenty of space on either end that tapers down to its ends. The space between the mirror and the wall is a nice type of padding. There is enough length in the handles to sling over one shoulder - which is crucial since the Orion EQ 130 is quite Due to the counterweights putting all their weight at the one end, the machine is slightly out of balance. As a result, you cannot place anything on top of it, and since it is not flat or balanced, it doesn't stack well on anything else. If Orion was interested in offering something like the Plano 1819 storage trunk with precut foam (I don't know where foam can be purchased) then I would strongly recommend doing so. Ensure that the counterweights are placed in the middle of the case so that they are more evenly distributed. This is not a bad bag, however. It would probably be easier to carry than a rigid trunk as well.

This telescope will be used for my Orion SpaceProbe 130ST telescope
4/5

I was told that it would fit my Orion SpaceProbe 130ST telescope according to the Orion website. It does fit, but please keep in mind you will have to take some stuff apart. Since there are no instructions with this bag, you will have to experiment with placement and arrangement to figure out the best way to fit the If I put the tripod in the narrow section and the scope in the larger section, it was easier to zip up (it did not zip up when I did it the other way). It's not convenient at all, I'll tell you that much. Take everything apart and put it back together again with tools along. (The tools that came with it are kept in a baggie with the directions). As long as the bag is cushioned well, I don't have to worry about damage to my scope during transportation. It is weighted). However, it is a very snug fit for my telescope, even though it is regarded as a great bag overall. However, it does the job and is very well constructed.

It is an Orion 130ST EQ model Still a lot of room for improvement
4/5

I believe that it is excellent quality, which is certainly at par with the $300 price. A scope of 00 is protected by this product. The outside of the box is sturdy and durable, while the inside is softer and smooth to the touch. This type of box won't scratch or damage any equipment contained within. Moreover, the interior is also divided into two compartments. A thick pad is also integrated to ensure that the stand and the telescope tube themselves do not negatively interact or damage one another. A nylon strap and velcro-secured velcro strip are also found on one end of the case, which are used to secure the counterbalance weight. There is only one glaring issue the description is designed to complement the Orion 130ST EQ, yet these measurements do not always fit On the other hand, in practice it can be quite difficult. tripod instead. Although this is particularly useful for azimuth mounts, the equatorial mount makes things a bit more challenging. You will need to position the mount a little awkwardly in order to close the zipper. It's a good idea to remove the tube ring mounts if you can. I would say it is still worth the purchase all in all. This product is what you will need if you are looking for high quality optics protection. There are not many excellent options out there. Although the product is supposed to be compatible, I deducted a star for the fit difficulty, despite its advertised compatibility. Otherwise, this is an exceptional, clever, and well-executed piece of writing I have made my My only regret is that I didn't take more time.

I like the way it protects the telescope and can stand up to the crazy environments we find ourselves in
4/5

In conjunction with my Orion Astroview 6, I use this. In spite of the crazy environment we often find ourselves in, it keeps the telescope safe and secure. This window has been drenched in frost, dew, and dirt, to name a few. My telescope stays dry when it is wiped off (if you leave it in the rain it will soak through) and I swear I am not a telescope masochist, I did just take the scope when we went camping, and for that purpose it is all quite convenient. Without this, you would be taking a lot of risks. If you are unable to lift your telescope up with it fully assembled, I would not recommend buying this. It would be easier to carry the telescope like a suitcase if the straps were shorter (I am 6'1" and it still drags on the ground), but the straps are too tight to make you comfortable carrying it on your back. Packing it up in a compact package may not make it easier for you to carry, but you'll get to complete the task in less time, and you'll be safeguarding the scope. There should be an additional shoulder strap and one for the hands. It is similar to the ones on.

The lightest but most robust of the three
5/5

This is used with a large, triplet-refractor telescope (132mm) that has a camera, filter wheel, and adapters to make it easier to view the scene. The weight of this item is about 30 pounds. With straps long enough to put on my shoulder, one hand is free for maneuvering through doors or areas where a hard case might not fit. A much more convenient solution than a This type of pad is good for a variety of purposes including at home, in the car, or even as Neither would I ship it nor use it for travel on an airplane.

It has a heavy scope
4/5

This is a good product. Aside from the mounting I have, my telescope, tripod, tripod mount, and counterweights add up to over 80 lbs. It was returned for two cases, one for the tripod, tripod mount, and counterweight, and one for the scope. Three days later it was returned. Nevertheless, I chose to keep the case in the scope of my investigation. As a result, it is nicely padded and is going to prove to be of great use to me. As well as a tripod and counterweight case, I will strive to find one.
