Will a vintage C8 with fork mount fit in there? Is there extra room for forks on the c8 because it's smaller than the 11"?

The interior has a total of 26 square feet. The diameter is 14 inches and the height is 5 inches. We used Celestron 8" Evolutions with a single arm fork mount in this case, and it works great.

Is this compatible with the Celestron 9? With the Evolution mount attached, it'll cost you $25. ?

No, I doubt it. In the 9, the Evolution 8 is a bit of a squeeze. 25" case. Your OTA is five inches longer than this case, but it is one inch longer than this case. On the other hand, you could probably get it to fit by removing the diagonal and sliding the OTA backward to shorten the assembly's overall length. This is a good case for Evolution 9

When it came to my questions about this item, the vendor (Skies Unlimited LLC) was fantastic to work with. Evolution 9 of My Celestron Fully assembled (tube and mount), 25 fits perfectly, and the item appears to be well made.
