Hello Daniel, I am the CC - There is a standard 3/8" mount on the 2807, and it has a 28mm carbon tube.

Here is the Neewer model number I bought this for The carbon fiber tripod 10095475 is made from carbon fiber. In order to lay out the tripod to its absolute lowest position, the column can be replaced to fit perfectly.
