Questions & Answers

Taking a picture with my Nikon D5100 with this tripod would be awesome. What are the results?

There is no question, it is the appropriate Nikon thread. While I have no idea what your tripod looks like, I'm interested in seeing it.

When it comes to the thumb screw itself, what is its diameter?

The Smallrig® Aluminium Alloy 15mm Rods 2 are compatible when used with them. It measures 5 inches wide and 63 inches long. It has a size of 5mm and a 1/4"-thick wall There are 20 threads on the clamp mount The distance between them seems to be about 15mm, give or take a millimeter.

What is the rust resistance of these In the future, I want to connect a Joby Suction Cup to a GoPro mount on a surfboard with them. ?

Steel is used in the making of authentic SMALLRIG parts. However, I have not been able to locate any mention of a specific SS formulation, but it's If the 304 is exposed to saltwater (316 is much more common for saltwater applications), it is not the best material. Assuming that the parts are only exposed for relatively short periods, I think you will expose them for a short while. You should be able to use the SMALLRIG adapters. A day of use is not supposed to leave any rust on the item. In my opinion, you will not run into any problems if you take apart your rig at the end of the day and rinse it with fresh water.

Be sure you are getting what you see, as you may not actually receive it
5/5

It is my sincere regret to have offended It is true that the comment that I did not purchase from SMALLRIG is correct. I learned what happened after further investigation. I ordered my 1/4" Male to 1/4" Male adapters from SmallRig almost immediately after I ordered them. There were a lot of things I liked about In order to reorder two more sets, I used the "Buy It Again" button on Amazon. com, which then took me to a page advertising what appeared to be the same product, but it was from Vinient, not Amazon. It didn't occur to me that the vendor had changed. Before writing this article, I used the "Buy It Again" button from the original order and it still behaves as it does today. If you're going to SMALLRIG, it will take you there rather than Vinient. SMALLRIG's 1/4" Male to 1/4" male adapters were well made and were made from heavy gauge steel and stainless steel which made them very sturdy. There were differences between the two sets of items I received from Vinient. The quality of the materials is much worse. This is the first set of SMALLRIG adapters I bought (on the left side of the attached image). Adapter on the right was acquired from Vinient (the second order) and is the subject of this review. The two aren't the same, as you can see. In the ad I saw for Vinient, the dimensions of the adapters don't match what I received. The quality of the thread is substandard. The chances of these being stainless steel are very slim Magnetic screws are magnetic (yes, there are magnetic stainless steels, but do not often find a place in Because I deal with a lot of SS fasteners, the first thing I noticed here was the wrong color, that they weren't stainless. There do not appear to be any SS plates, as stainless steel does not usually get As soon as I noticed the adapters were not in SMALLRIG bags, I knew something was wrong.
The adapters I received from Vinient do not match the ones she advertised and aren't the same as I received in the past. Though they will work, they won't be as good as the originals. A Vinient advertisement seems to advertise the SMALLRIG product and then substitute the cheaper product.

Update My review of the Vinient adapters was sent to Amazon (probably Vinient) after I wrote it. I received a refund from Amazon for the lower quality adapters. Nevertheless, I ordered three more sets from SmallriG, making sure that I was purchasing them from them. This was my second order of high quality adapters, and I received the same ones last time. Having reset my rating to 5, I am now satisfied with the product An iconic symbol. It is advisable to ensure that you know who is actually selling to you. Don't go with anything else but.

I'm glad I had SMALLRIG on hand for this odd little part
5/5

In some applications, I need to mount 1/8" female to 1/8" female, and there are 1/4" double-ended threads I can use That is made possible by male screws that have two sides. Aside from being made very well, feeling good in your hands, and with the SMALLRIG logo laser etched on one of the surfaces, these are awesome. If you are trying to make video, photography, or vlogging easier, turn to SMALLRIG if you need a ménage à trois of bits and pieces. I do not receive free items or receive money from them and I do not know their names or addresses. Simply because I like their products so much.

There could have been a little more space on one side
4/5

They are what I need to go into a light that I have unfortunately it has a little bracket around it which keeps things from fitting. I wish the screw thread had a little more extension so that I could use it in longer gaps before the mount as one side is a little short.

I think you'll find this to your taste, if you need it! As a result, I bought my wife the NETATMO Rain Gauge for the Netatmo Weather Station, so we might get some rain info at home
4/5

My issue lies in the fact that this rain gauge is not that heavy, and it does not have a stand. I did not want it on the grass, but rather wanted it mounted Thanks to the tripod screw hole in the rain gauge, I could use it to attach my tripod. The problem is now I want a male substitute There's a tripod screw on the male side. Having found these, I thought I would share. I need this - it is exactly what I need The only thing I needed was It is 1/4" wide by 2 1/4" long The 14" to 3/8" screws come in a single pack, but the 1/4" to 3/8" screws come in two packs. Now that I have an extra one, I have two. I'm hoping to find a use for it one day. Having said that, it works fine as far as the one I needed. My rain gauge was screwed to the adapter after I drilled a hole in my railing, then I screwed my adapter into my railing. The basket is now firmly in place, so it won't blow away or topple over if a playful squirrel knocks it over. It still allows the water to drain. They're an unusual sort of part, so they're a bit pricey, but the quality is high, and it's an uncommon sort of screw. If you want one, you need one, so this is a good option.

If you're going to get sick, I suggest getting a cold- medicine The shoe mount can be attached to the shoe
3/5

There must be a use for these that I am unaware A video cage was attached to small devices I got them to attach. It is possible that they can become stuck so tightly on cameras and other devices that pliers are necessary to remove them. You can end up stripping the threads from a plastic tripod socket if you're not careful. The angle at which your device is pointed in relation to the surface that you mount it on is also beyond your control. It would be best to get a cold medicine for that The mount can be attached to the cage using a flush 1/4-inch nut An additional 20 screws are then added to the shoelace It is an adapter that screws into a tripod and allows for some control over the tightening position.

This is a great piece of hardware
5/5

It is made of good quality. There were several other brands with these, and most looked a little rough in the thread. The metal is of good quality and the machined surfaces are nice. Compared to some of the others I've seen, this is a little more expensive, but I believe it is worth paying a little extra to have well-machined and quality metal It will not be difficult for me to buy more if I need them.

There is no way to adjust the In order to attach some small LED lights to the side of my Small Rig, I do not need to decide where the screws should end
3/5

The screw adapters are useful for attaching things with no orientation, but otherwise very hard to use. What they might try (you might try) is using rubber grommets that will compress and allow the screw adapters to tighten more loosely, instead of just one hard stop.

This was exactly what I was looking for
5/5

Someone who works with a lot of cameras and video sets will be glad to know these inexpensive adapters are just what the doctor ordered. A person may need a specific configuration at any time, and these tools can be useful when that happens.
