These rods were purchased to extend my 15mm rods so I can add a battery pack to them. As a result, I didn't realize the carbon fiber rods do not have threads on the inside and cause the rods to become unsafe if there are heavier accessories attached. My first impression of Carbon Fiber rods was pretty good. Despite their small size, SmallRig has come a long way in terms of quality control.
