There is no need for you to. To mount to a threaded gopro base, just buy a threaded base.
The new case was an upgrade from the original. A microphone hole and a speaker hole are still open on the bottom of the board.
I found it to be a good match for my Hero5.

In a nutshell, There are just three big changes compared to the factory housing in the GoPro 7 camera. You can see them in the video and photos. A major advantage of this construction is the excellent quality of plastic and its high level of rigidity. A critical feature of this case is the ability to open the side door to enable HDMI output and more importantly, USB connection The camera can be charged through the USB cable without being removed from the I am very pleased with that I was dissatisfied with the GoPro shell's lack of tactile feel on the right side, so the right side has a cutout so you can feel the camera power button. Besides that, it is also more cutting-efficient There is an outlet for the I am particularly pleased with the lens cover included, as it stays on much better than other covers I have purchased. The longest I've ever been away from my family is ten years I have been a Sametop user for several years and this product looks the same as A high level of quality and a great value. Sametop, you did a great job!.
Since I've been checking this product out in the field regularly for about a month, I have been very impressed. My only concern about long-term use is that it seems to be as strong and well-made as the original equipment from GoPro. My Hero 7 Black fits perfectly in the case, and most people might not recognize it as anything other than an original. Nevertheless, those who use the 7 Black in the original case will immediately notice improvement. I would like to point out two things This feature allows for the door and lens cover to be cut out. First, if you have a full-time job, you will have a better chance of finding My only question is why GoPro did not come up with a larger cutout to access the access door. The power cord can be connected while the camera is in the housing, so the battery can be charged while operating the camera. In fact, the lens cover is a very useful addition, even though it is technically part of the case. The lack of lens covers on GoPro cameras has been quite puzzling to me many times. A) remembering to remove the lens cover and B) remembering which pocket I put it in has been the only problem with this thing! As an aftermarket product, this is one of the best I've seen It will be a long time before the market is replaced by new products.
Cameras like my GoPro Hero 7 Black are nice to have. It can be mounted in so many ways, which I love. However, having to take it out of the frame to download media and charge it back up was one of the things I disliked. My day is not complete without several times of exercise. The port door needed to be accessed more easily since I often work in the rain. I wanted to keep the waterproofing but needed better access. With its enlarged port door over the GoPro's port, Sametop's frame offers this capability. This frame fits my GoPro perfectly, has openings for microphones and the speaker, and appears to be made from the same material and with the same thickness as the original GoPro. I like how the mounting knuckle fits my accessories well and includes an extra snap-on nose cone A thumb screw and in mount are included. One downside is that the narrow side rails are quite thin as they run on for a longer distance because of the narrow opening over the port door. In "extreme sports," the frame would be more susceptible to damage since there is more force applied to it My policy is to avoid doing that. The frame looks very beautiful to me, and I believe I will be pleased with it. Moreover, it comes with a handy lens cap for extra protection. Make sure to remove this piece of equipment before you begin recording otherwise, you'll only get audio Having experienced that, I know it to be true. We lost some spectacular footage, which is very disappointing. Be sure to check the lens cap and don't be like me.
Even though the material feels sturdy enough, the fit around the GoPro is loose, which allows the GoPro to move around inside the case. Comparing the plastic with the original, the original has less flex and give. After I taped both of the insides of the sides, top, and bottom of the housing to fix the floppy fit, I was able to get it to fit. A 5 star rating would have been earned if it had fit more "OE". We're glad they included the long thumb screw which, even though it looks and feels more shiny and slick, still fastens the housing to the OE GoPro mounts securely. The knockoff is a good buy for the price It is a good one to start off with. So far, I have not tested the durability under bouncy conditions, but it looks like it will last nearly one year.
especially hated taking that stupid thing off all the time so that I can charge it without having to take the lid off the charging port area and risk losing it. There is a large enough hole at the side of the case so that you don't have to take it off to charge. There is a lock at the top of this case that works pretty much in the same way as the one on the original GoPro, but I find that this one is much more user-friendly. While I'm pretty careful about my GoPro, I couldn't tell you much about keeping it protected. I believe the GoPro Hero 7 black is waterproof without the housing case, but I still feel nervous about not using some sort of housing in that case. Using a GoPro, I did not completely submerge it in the water, but I used it around a water feature. In the rare event that I ever need to film underwater, I would probably use the original GoPro housing. This case is worth the money mostly because of the ease of access it provides to the charging ports in it.
In a nutshell, It was the first thing I noticed when I used the Sametop case, since it fits better than the case that came with it. On the left side there is a large cut out, so that you can plug it into the USB port without taking it out of the It's easy to turn the device on and off because the on/off button is cut out now on the right side. The original case only had a tiny pin hole for the microphone on the bottom, but this one has a much larger cutout to let more sound into the device. Optical covers also come with the case and they fit on the lenses Plastic feels like it will not easily break in this case, which appears solidly made. With it, you'll also get a mount that fits a GoPro. I think this is a good value and a good case for the price.
