In spite of being extremely gentle with the clips, the tabs on the buckle mount broke off during my third use of this setup with my Hero 7 Black despite my hard work with the box. tried using the genuine GoPro buckle mount with this skeleton box as I am extremely satisfied with the skeleton box, and although the two components fit, it is so tight that I am concerned that it will break either the skeleton box or the genuine GoPro buckle mount. The fact that I only used this piece three times as well as being extremely careful/gentle with the tabs, but they still broke, makes it impossible to recommend it. I will only be using authentic I will pay more, but I would rather pay for genuine GoPro products who will provide better quality and longer service. Having learned my lesson, I would never do it again.

I am certain that this frame is well worth the price. This arose from the fact that the frame that came with my hero 5 broke on the locking hinge, so my gopro would fall out of its holder for just the slightest jostling. As well as being inexpensive and easy to replace the original frame, this frame allows me to access the charging port while I am still in the frame. In addition, it feels sturdy and rigid compared to the initial frame. As I was waiting for the charger to arrive, I was worried about how strong the frame would feel around the charging port, but I was amazed by how strong it felt. I definitely give this product 5 stars.

I was able to mount my GoPro 5 perfectly with this frame mount. Despite the lack of adhesive base, there is only a minor drawback. There are many places to buy those, however. The lens cover that comes with this purchase is pretty cool. All essential areas (on/off, charging port, etc. ) are accessible. To avoid having to use batteries all the time, I found a way to charge my car's USB port with a charging cord that was long enough to reach it. Due to the ability to easily access the charging port with this frame, I can use my GoPro as a dash cam, as well as continue to have continuous power. A factory frame came with the camera that blocks the charging port. It does not bother me at all. The price was well worth it!.

It's a nice mount for the GoPro, but the case feels a bit flimsy in terms of durability. There has yet to be an issue with it for me. The thing is not that durable, it feels like cheap plastic, so I do not recommend putting it through a lot of use. Nevertheless, I would recommend it since I've had it for a long while and it still works fine. Parts of this drawer are not very strong where the screws go through. Thus, you need to be cautious. As far as I can tell, these could easily break. Thanks be to God, they have not acted up for me.

It is great that the GoPro can be charged while it is in the case and I was hoping it would be great for mountain biking videos. When you are riding trails and hit bumps, you will hear the rattling in the video. I think it sounds better ( I think) than the original because there is play on it. In that case, I will still cut a small gap for the microphones and carry on with the layout of the original.
