The Orion 6X30 right angle finder scope I got this to transfer to my Celestron NexStar Evolution 8 was too big. There are no gaps in the mounting holes, and it is tightly fastened. It was a great idea to reuse the black screws from the OTA instead of the shiny nickel plated screws that came with the I like how it looks and how it works. A cost of $32 with shipping is included. I'm fairly sure the small screw used to secure the momentary on/off switch of most laser pointers eventually falls out and gets lost. However, it appears that it holds the pointer itself well and allows it to be aligned accurately That's all I have to say. I think it's fine all in all.
