Despite the pot metal being weak, it still works

However, after a few months, the retaining collar holding the lock down knob in place snapped. The cast pot metal construction, which did not hold up under tension upon inspection after failure, was found to be the reason for the failure. Also, it only has one screw that holds the knob in place, so if the screw fails, the collar will pop open, causing the camera/lens to fall.

There is good in it as well as bad in There is an Arca-style system This collar features a Swiss compatible foot, which ensures a snug, secure fit of the foot and eliminates the need for adding a plate

Although the collar is designed to restrain the lens, it does not do so in practice. It is likely that there are 10 or more When the collar is fastened and tightened down, there will be 15' of wobble.

The first time I used it, it broke

During the installation of the lens, the screw that holds the lens in place broke. I wouldn't recommend it due to the lack of quality production, even though it is cheaper than others.
