Any experience with an aluminum collar damaging a plastic lens? Please provide a link to any articles you have read on the subject. ?

Using the collar, I attached my Sony 70 to my neck During that time, I also bought a 350mm lens and haven't removed it. The lens has not been damaged at all by it and fits perfectly. In terms of weight, it has only added a very small amount, and the Arca mount is a nice feature. It's a wonderful book that I recommend.

Many Sony APSC cameras cannot take the weight of telephoto lenses due to their polycarbonate plastic bodies. You may have to attach something heavier to the front plate if the body warps. It would have been better if Sony had included a mounting collar in the 70-series As a standard accessory, a 350mm lens is available. It is a shame that Sony did not do It was fortunately possible for some manufacturers to respond rapidly to this.

Designed to fit beautifully with the extraordinarily fine Sony 70-MP camera, this accessory is elegantly designed and exquisitely crafted There are 350 APS-mount cameras in this lineup There are two zoom lenses in the C series. There are no issues with using the lens with this filter. It is easy to install and does not interfere with the lens' The price is reasonable and the value is good.
