I haven't seen an HHr in person, but it appears to fit from the pictures I've seen online.
Hello, yes, the bracket will fit both the tribute and the cobra esd.
If the mirror is attached to the windshield, it will work; if it is attached to the roof, as it is on my 4 runner, it will not. work. My wife used to have a Kia Optima, and it had a mirror that worked.

I was concerned that the attachment that goes into the radar slot would not fit my Cobra RAD 450, but it did. I wasn't sure if it would work on my Porsche window and mirror post because it was so steeply angled, but it did. br>br>The mount is made of metal and feels very well made; it's simple to put together and comes with all the parts you'll need to secure everything. It's much more durable than suction cup mounts, and it looks much more professional than amateur work. I didn't really need the instructions, but it did come with some good illustrations on how to put it together. It comes with an Allen wrench that can be used to tighten the hand/Allen knobs for fine adjustments as well as tighten the rear view mirror post clasp. The mount is extremely adaptable in terms of the various positions and angles to which it can be adjusted. Going over speed bumps, the radar detector does not move. It's really cool. br>br>I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. I'm confident that the mount will perform better than my radar detector. Now that I have this fantastic mount, I may need to upgrade my radar detector:.
This may not seem like a big deal to some because you can't see it, but I don't want to scratch up my brand new car. I'm not sure why a bracket with sharp teeth isn't covered in rubber. It appears that it would keep the mirror arm from scratching and even give it a better grip. I'm returning it and looking for a new solution.
UPDATE: I contacted the seller, who promptly sent me a replacement clip. I installed the mount in less than ten minutes, my radar detector looks great, and I am very pleased. I strongly advise you to purchase them.
I also wanted something that was durable and kept thieves away from my belongings. br>br>After installing the mounts in my cars, I was surprised a few weeks later when I was pulled over for exceeding the posted speed limit by 5 miles. When he passed me head on, the cop who stopped me was taken aback because he didn't notice my detector. Even if his radar gun isn't turned on, he claims the suction cups are usually a dead giveaway. He actually complimented me on the mount, asked where he could order them from, and then let me off with a warning after coming around to the passenger side and looking at the quality. That alone made the investment in this mount worthwhile. br>br>Because it's mostly made of aluminum, it'll last a long time. Keep in mind that you'll need the original radar mount, so don't discard it. I also bought the company's wiring kit (PerformancePackageTM Radar Detector MirrorWire Power Cable) to make it even more stealthy, but I'm still stumped on how to wire the wiring into my mirror's harness/plug. Nonetheless, just for this bracket, it's well worth the money.
For my Cobra XRS 7790G radar detector, I purchased two rear view mirror mounts. br>It works well and I don't have to worry about the suction cups losing their grip on the windshield as a result of the heat. Due to the slightly loose fit, vibrate a little. However, with its original windshield mount (suction cup mount), it vibrates as well. The aluminum attachment on one side had broken. br>I contacted the seller, and John Keezer was able to help me out and sent me a replacement the same day I emailed them. br>Thank you for your time and consideration, John.
When I used it to hold up a Cobra RAD 350, I had some sagging issues. Despite the tightness of the thumb turns, it drooped over any bumps. Two different approaches were beneficial: (1) I wrapped a small piece of neoprene around the two bulbs and tightened it, which kept them in place but required trimming; (2) I replaced the thumb turns with machine screws that could be tightened with a tool (philips or allen wrenches work best). Either of these options should be able to solve the problem on their own. br>br>After that, it was able to keep the device from colliding with anything. I drive an F150 on a regular basis, not offroad, but over enough terrain that it doesn't sag. I hope this has been of assistance.
It will not work if your vehicle's mirror is suspended from the ceiling, but standard mirrors should. Mine came with instructions, but anyone with a little mechanical know-how should be able to figure it out on their own. If necessary, it comes with longer mounting screws. I already had my detector hardwired to turn on when the car was started, so all I had to do was mount it. It took me seven days to complete. It takes ten minutes to set up and two minutes to uninstall. Adjusting to the desired location takes three minutes. Is it a little on the expensive side for what it is: Yes, but the alternatives are prohibitively expensive, and the ones that are less expensive are poorly designed. This is a product that I would recommend.
With the allen wrench that came with the mount, it was simple to put it together. 5min. I like it because it means I don't have to reach as far to silence a false alarm. It also raises it a notch higher, giving me a little more breathing room in the event of a real ticket threat. K or Ka. I also like that when I'm parked, I can keep the detector on while using my dash reflector. I'd make another purchase.
