I was able to open the jaws up to three times their original size. 6” max. To see if the case will fit, measure the width of the phone with the case on it. The spring clamping force increases as the jaws are opened further.

This is a very useful feature. It's easier to record when you're in the right spot.
I'm not sure why anyone would buy a tripod mount for the pocket radar other than this one. It works best when mounted on a tripod, but it can also be attached to any chain link fence. br>br>I've had this mount for more than a year and it's still going strong. It's been hit by line drives and survived multiple tripod crashes. Even if it were to break, I would not hesitate to order a replacement.
Love it. The only criticism is that it is overpriced for the quality. However, it safely stores the also prohibitively expensive Pocket Radar as well as another device (or a battery pack to power the radar).
Surprisingly effective tool for connecting a camera or phone to a battery. It is not required that the radar be a speed radar.
It works great with any tripod and has never dropped my radar or phone, even when it's been hit hard. Don't think about it, just buy it. It has a lot of uses and is worth a lot more than they're asking. There isn't a better version out there, and I've tried a lot of them.
It does the job, but I'm concerned that it won't last long.
When using the radar and the iPhone together, the tripod comes in handy! The set-up is ideal.
