As a physician, I spend a lot of time traveling around the state to provide specialty care at small hospitals. Unfortunately, the Max 360 was only functional for a few months. It then began sending me strange signals and asking me questions like "Lockout the signal?" and "Lockout the signal?" " and "Connect?" I contacted Escort, who requested that I send the detector in for analysis, which I did, and it was returned three weeks later. It worked for about a month before the same issues cropped up again. Because Escort only takes calls between 9 a. m. and 9 p. m. , I contacted them via email. I'm working at the moment, so it'll be 30. Multiple emails were exchanged, and despite the fact that the device had recently been serviced, I spent a significant amount of personal time attempting to update it. "The defender subscription is for the red light and speed cameras," I was told in one of the most recent emails. You must purchase a subscription if you have not already done so. There could be a couple of reasons for the failed update, so try a different cable first. " At this point, having spent $500 on a detector, I was getting frustrated with being told I needed to spend more money and time on a product that I believe should have been replaced. I contacted Amazon, and they graciously agreed to issue a partial refund to me. I notified Escort that I was returning the detector and taking a significant "hit" in terms of lost money and time due to a defective product, but I never received a follow-up, an apology, or a credit for a new product. For the price of the detector, I expected something that would be hassle-free and easily replaced if necessary. Perhaps the company has grown too big to care about a single customer. The Max 360 proved to be a costly lesson in the dangers of using Escort services.

It appears to work similarly to the Escort IX I have, but holy cow, this is about a third larger and super heavy. The mount provided is insufficient for the unit's size and weight, because even in my long wheelbase, smooth-riding, The weight of the unit on such an inadequate mount causes it to bounce around like crazy while riding in a luxury car. This was never done by the Escort IX unit. The mounting system for this behemoth of a radar detector is woefully inadequate. This situation necessitated the purchase of a $100 aftermarket mount in order for the device to function. Customer service 100% is unresponsive to support questions about their OEM mount at Escort. For many years, I was a devoted Escort customer. After this horrible experience, I will never buy another Escort product.

I had high hopes for this, and I've been driving with it for nearly a week. When I first opened the box, I realized that the other reviews were correct: it's HUGE. I've had cassette Walkmans in the 1990s that were smaller and had better styling than this. Now it's time to look at the usage. I can tell the sensitivity is poor because I'll drive past a radar and the front sensor will work only when I'm close to the source, then stop working completely when I pass the radar, with no rear sensitivity at all. The detector said the speed limit was 25, but it was actually 50, so I kept getting overspeed alerts while driving on the highway with the escort app (which is terrible by the way). I'm returning this and replacing it with my trusty V1.

5 Ka Detection is a technique for detecting the presence of a certain amount of I gave it back to her. I bought it and gave it back. The Max360's pickup range on the 5 Ka Band is extremely limited. I bought the Radenso Pro SE, and it's currently dusting my Redline 35. The Radenso Pro Se is a five-piece band. Is a fantastic product, with the majority of officers using either the Lidar laser or the 35. I hope this saves someone the headache I had with the 5 Ka band; however, because it is cheaply made, the lettering will rub off. I used to own Escort, but I decided to sell it.
