This product has replaced my cigarette lighter in my car and I recommend testing both the usb and aux to be sure both work properly before installing. I need to replace my usb port, but I don't want to take apart my dash and then put it back together just to make it work. I have learned a lot by living my life.

Initially, I was concerned that the connection to use Android Auto may not be able to sustain enough bandwidth, but I have not had any problems. Since this is wired at the back of my center console and thus would not reach the radio, I had to use extensions for both the USB and the AUX connections. Despite the extensions, the USB connectivity is strong, and the AUX in is very clear and noiseless. The installation was quite simple and the end result is It is recommended that you remove the cover if you are not going to use the cover piece, and use the ring that goes around the socket (from the optional cover piece) as a grommet alternative, so that the rest of the installation remains clean.

One thing I did notice is that the plastic in the USB connector is not finished very well and there are some rough edges. Inserting the USB cable causes a kind of crunching sensation. When some USB cables have been inserted and worn off, this will no longer be an issue, but a sign that the USB cable is low in power. Ensure that the USB connector is made to a high standard. If I had to buy it again, I probably would.

Put it in the place of a cigarette lighter socket and it works just fine. The Pioneer double-ended cable connects it to the equipment The rear of the vehicle contains the din head unit, usb port, and aux port. I like that it plays files (music, movies, and pictures) off of an external flash drive.

This is used in conjunction with a Pioneer head unit and a USB C charger. The Android Auto feature works fine when I connect a cable directly to the head unit, but not when I use.

The Pioneer AVH1440 NEX radio and adapter are both included with this unit You can use a phone powered by Android. The locknuts must be screwed on and off several times before installing, as the warranty does not cover damage caused during installation. Installing it this way should be much easier! I had a similar issue with the USB port. It was really tight until you plugged and unplugged One thing that would improve the whole experience would be if it lit up at night.

Apart from the fact that it works, there isn't much to say about this product. Android Auto, CarPlay, and USB media can be played on the USB stick. This Aux port is an Aux port.

I had wanted to use this in place of one of my cigarette lighters until I realized I would have to remove the entire front part of the console and part of the center console to do this. As a result, I used the mounting hardware provided, and I am not unhappy with my decision.
