Unless you have an aux adapter in the center console, you should find the aux If you don't understand, you can search "AUX for ACURA MDX" on YouTube and you'll find detailed instructions. Disassemble the new AUX, take out the new circuit board, insert it into the original and finally replace the front part.
The cover flap will flip down instead of upward, so it will work.
The Honda CR-V from 2007 has one or more of these It is not possible to install an AUX on V center consoles. On the other hand, if it were the Honda CR-V It appears that there is an AUX installation in V LX. The auxiliary interface is all there is to it. After viewing YouTube videos on how to fix an inoperable AUX jack on a Honda Civic, this worked. I did not have a problem with it. I found one peculiar thing about this particular unit, which is that if I had used the outer part with the hinged lid, then the AUX lettering on the flip cover would be facing the wrong way. The odd thing. As for the cover, I used the original one and it works.
When the Aux Port of my wife's Honda Civic stopped working, she was quite disappointed. On a Honda, I thought that something should not age so quickly. As a result, she wanted to do something quick before the coworkers show up She was going to have it installed in two days by her worker. I checked out this one and it appeared to be on sale, and Amazon promised to deliver it the following This is what her colleagues have to say about her The wiring harness was removed and the connecting wires were fished out from the dash. I tested on the replacement port, it worked like a charm, fished back the wires where they should have been, and snapped this part back into the dash. Replacing the console is as simple as putting it Having a happy wife is the key to a happy life!.
I used this in my 2006 Honda Civic and it worked great. The old one had to be pulled out by hand. You can find tips on YouTube. If you are pulling the old one, take care not to damage the wires in the last pulling. In order to install the new jack, all that needs to be done is to plug in the connection and push.
I found this product to be useful, but my civic 2006 has a 6 pin power port under the console for the aux connection, so the adapter had a 5 pin plug, which I couldn't connect with it, but maybe it works for newer models. Thanks for posting.
To remove the old aux, I used pliers as suggested by another reviewer. I originally thought there was not enough wire to make this possible without removing other pieces of my dashboard. But after wiggling and pulling it, as well as asking my husband to help, we were able to release the old one and the new one was easy to plug in. I am very happy with the results.
It works, but it's not OEM quality. Furthermore, due to the fact that the cover of this part is not to OEM specifications, the door cover of this part will not fit with the OEM fixture, however, getting the whole assembly out is a lot harder than just replacing the PCB/jack part.
I think this was a good and speedy By using the plastic trim tool(s), I was able to pop out the old plug with ease. No necessary DIY adjustments to connect the new one, simply plug it in and enjoy.
This repair was only tricky because I had trouble removing the pigtail from it and loosening the socket from the original. It took me less than a minute to install and turn on the new one once I had it in hand.
