In this case, you use the old harness that you will insert into the.
I have a 2007 Honda CRV with a dead aux jack. On my car trips I like to listen to music from my phone or iPod, so first, I called the dealership to find out how much I would have to pay to replace it. A quote of over $100 was given to me! My first step was to google how I could fix this myself. I found this jack on Amazon for less than $15 dollars and it took me about 10 minutes to fix it. My center console's aux jack pops out of the socket so I just had to pry it loose with a flathead screwdriver (used a tiny flathead screwdriver to pry it loose). Once the plug cable was plugged into the new aux jack, I disconnected the wire harness and connected the new aux jack (be sure to compare the shape and number of prongs of the replacement plug). I felt that the new jack didn't fit quite as tightly as the OEM jack due to slight differences between the clips on either side, but otherwise everything was great! It provides excellent sound quality and is comparable to OEM jacks if not better.
This product is great and I am very satisfied.
My AUX port connector (the radio did not show the aux port option) was replaced with this awesome part. It fits perfectly on a 2007 Honda civic. If you wish to replace only the connector of this aux port, then make a youtube video about it. In some videos, it is shown that the whole connector must be replaced, but this is not required. I was able to restore the functionality of my Aux port after installing in less than 10 minutes.
I bought this in October of this year. In June 2020, it will be I just noticed that the auxiliary port in my 2010 Honda Civic has stopped working without cause. My cable would have to be wiggled back on aux to make it work again. After getting the new cable, the issue persisted, which led me to believe that there was a problem with the aux port itself. My search for this piece led me to this. My Honda auxiliary port replaced with the one here was working great when I replaced the factory Honda one. As of today, it's doing the same thing as before I discovered I was having a problem with my factory aux port. There was pretty much no problem with the factory aux port, and it lasted for a good It will certainly last for many years to come.
Can work, but needs a bit of The description of the tool indicates that it is valid for 2006 Civics 2011 is a great car. As opposed to the OEM housing, this one does not have an angle. You can find a YouTube video to replace the little circuit board instead of removing the dash and the radio to get this out. Pop off the Aux face, which breaks one or more snap pieces, then replace the little circuit board.
Since the part had to be removed incorrectly, I had difficulty prying it out of such a restricted area. If you plan on installing this, I recommend scanning YT first. As an installation expert for these parts and this car, I am now in my element! A big thank you to.
It is very simple to repair the Aux jack of a Honda CRV model from 2008. To remove the defective part, simply pull it out (easy to do-- See YouTube videos) and snap into place by holding the bolt.
For the price I don't mind that the connector isn't a perfect fit, but for a little extra money I wouldn't mind anything else.
