Questions & Answers

Can this be used on a 2010 CR-S ?

We were able to use it on our 2009 CR-V

Why would you need to install this plug-in?

The connector to an Audio AUX for Honda Civic 2010 has been replaced. The same problem is also present on other models (not sure if it is present on all

Would it be possible to connect the device via Bluetooth as well?

Only the 3 of them are covered in this part. An auxiliary jack of 5mm is required. It is necessary to get a 3 in addition to the Bluetooth audio. To connect to this, you will need a 5mm bluetooth adapter. That's all I have for now.

Can you tell me where cable parts can be found?

The plug just clicks into its socket, so there are no cables to deal with.

This is a far better replacement part than the OEM single-cylinder engine
5/5

I definitely recommend it. A better replacement than OEM, and it is so easy to install! Almost plug and play, 5 minutes of work, and I even watched a video Finally, we can say this It is hard to believe I waited so long to do this. I must say, this is cheap as hell, and for someone who has little or no knowledge of cars, it was extremely easy. part is actually better than the OEM part because the internals are partially water resistant, which seems gimmicky, but it does allow the flap cover cover to lock in an open position (which the OEM part does not allow). As a result, the hinge does not constantly put pressure on the aux cable, and therefore the aux port. This is partially why my hinge failed (but it did last for 14 years) in the first place. The cable has a good closing force and a locking open position makes it much easier to plug in an Aux cable. Please make sure it is the Aux port. Please try a few USB cables to see if that works. Eventually, I realized that my port was not working until I applied pressure to the wires (typical sign of a broken port). Inside the back connector, there is a spring that can break, and that has to be replaced. Get a thin, wedge-shaped object and place it over the hole in the hole The old port can be removed by carefully using a rounded item. Avoid scratching the dash by using slow and steady movements. It was unnecessary to make the knife sharp and thin, and to make the screwdriver With a flathead screwdriver, I removed my sunglasses and glasses with ease. If you are concerned about scratches, use a plastic tool. There were a couple attempts to remove the old cover, but once it was done, you simply pulled the Aux port out of the old one and plugged An instructional video on YouTube shows you how to snap the cover back on in five seconds. This part looks kind of like the OEM part, except that the circuit board is covered in black glue, and that the four prongs aren't sharpened at the tips (the OEM ones are like arrows) and are longer than the OEM part. This cover fits perfectly, and any aesthetic differences cannot be seen once the cover is reattached. It came with an 'extra' Aux port housing and I opted not to replace it. It is the new circuit board and cover that I used. Hopefully, I will be able to update this review if it fails.

Here's a review for car guys, and a guide on how to install it properly
5/5

In place of my previous Civic model, I bought this one. While some of these reviews claim parts break during installation or will need sanding, in fact the installation is simple and can be accomplished in less than five minutes. The majority of people don't know much about cars, but I won't let that keep you from learning. The part is an excellent replacement and is from my viewpoint just as good as the factory part. It does not have a spring as the factory part did. This is the first ever loaded cover, which keeps the cover open while it is What's in it for me? There are two kinds of spring A loaded cover has the tendency to prematurely wear and tear the auxiliary components since it exerts minor but consistent pressure. While it may seem insignificant, if the 5mm jack stays in the port for a long time, it may lead to component failure, especially if you remove your auxiliary cable frequently (the other potential During installation, keep an auxiliary extension cable plugged in to extend the length of the port. The only thing that can go wrong is your extension cable! That way, your extension cable will be the only thing to fail. In comparison to the entire auxiliary assembly, this part will be much cheaper and easier to replace. The OEM auxiliary port housing is removed by removing the nuts and bolts

1) Remove the lid from the CD holder/accessory tray in the bottom of 2) Carefully pry open the auxiliary port cover with a flat screw driver. *3) There are two slots on the auxiliary housing The bottom center contains a very small tab as well as two tabs on either side of it. The small tab in the middle of the auxiliary housing can be pressed up with your flat screw driver. During this process, the trim around the auxiliary housing will bend slightly, which lets you steady push it Where you saw the two slots on the auxiliary housing, use the flat head screw driver to push inwards and then back into the dash until all of the auxiliary housing can be removed from 5). Stick a finger up into the opening inside the CD tray and tug until the harness can be pulled If this is your first replacement, it may feel tight, so don't be concerned if you feel like you are forcing it. As long as your auxiliary housing is attached, the harness can be pulled out. **6) Remove the OEM auxiliary housing (bright green) from the harness connector. Now you will begin feeding the harness back into the dash into the opening where you will attach your new auxiliary port. Make sure you have some slack in the green connector as you pull it out of the auxiliary housing. 8) You may now plug in the new auxiliary port assembly, but, DO NOT press the housing into the dash until you are sure it is functioning properly. Inserting the new housing into the dash is now possible after you have checked that the replacement part works. You will have to push it into the opening until you hear the locking tabs clicking into position. 10) Replace the trim cover inside the.

The sentence is a bit long, but it works well
4/5

The front of the case may need to be sanded a bit if using the car's case. I liked it a lot. It was a pain to remove the board from this one, so I put it in the original case of the car so there would not be too much difference in the look of the front end, and I could leave the case in the car without having to remove it. There is a little more length on this board than on After taking some sand paper, I sanded the front of the board about 1/8" so the latch would Because the board is so simple, there won't be any problem doing that. Afterward, I plugged it in and it worked. This 2010 Honda Civic belongs to you.

I couldn't be happier with the review! It is an item I have purchased before and had to return. After following the instructions to the letter (see a YouTube video), I was not able to install the software. It didn't matter how many times I uninstalled and followed the steps to reinstall, I never got any results. A replacement port was sent to me after I returned the original. There was a significant increase in the volume of the "click" I heard this time when I installed it. As I waited for my results, I thought they were going to be positive. My name is Doug. It's a pity that there are no Accordingly, I think the first port was just defective. For me (not a handyperson at all), the installation was difficult (which presumes others would find it It's for this reason that I gave it a 3 The stars are. Despite the fact that it worked the first time, I was still unable to solve my issue. A solid 2- would definitely be my rating for the item A thumbs up We're happy with the seller and have no hesitation in recommending him!.

Exactly what we were looking for! My 2007 Honda Civic has the same kit, but it says it's for a Honda Civic, but it fits a 2007 Honda CR-V You literally plug it in and start using it
5/5

As a replacement for an existing aux port that would not register cables for my Bluetooth Adapter, I was very satisfied with this product. Some reviews claimed that it would be upside down but it doesn't appear to be so, as it fits right in the jack.
