The PodMic has a standard XLR connection, so it should work, but a Dynamic mic shouldn't require any attenuation. In my studio, I run my tube amps pretty loud, and I've never needed an attenuator to record them, unless I'm using a condenser microphone.

These come in a variety of sizes, which I have. All of them work well and produce excellent sound. There's no way to go wrong with these.
Even in high-noise environments, 30 dB pads can be noisy; however, this one is perfect.
