There isn't any recourse if something goes wrong. This item's back panel fits into a slot in a series-connected device. (i.e. 500 rack) The API Lunchbox is an example of this. The signal is processed by this unit, which handles all connections through the rack.
This module belongs to the 500 series. You'll need the 'lunchbox' case, which comes with the power supply and connections. It's modular, that's the point.

amps (which is useful in some situations) and the high-speed It's a nice touch to have a detail feature.
There's no reason not to have one of these on your rig, especially at such a low price!.
Preamp from the 500 series that sounds fantastic.
I also have the 530 EQ and an old rack DBX 160x, so I give it five stars for what you get for the money. I figured that adding the 580 pre would round out the DBX channel strip, and it far exceeded my expectations. This isn't a character introduction. However, by adding hi and lo EQs to the source, you can give it a very musical tone. The hi band, in particular, gives the vocals a lovely air and gives the acoustic guitar a nice sheen. The lo band should be used sparingly, but it might be useful to add some bottom end weight back in when using an SM57 on a kick or low Tom, for example. Overall, it's a very neutral and transparent preamp that still adds depth to recordings. br>br> I've been impressed with it so far on most sources, including guitars, drums, vocals, and bass DI.
