It boosts the gain by 25 decibels per channel. It will work with any microphone you connect to it. But, to be honest, I don't believe it was designed for use with such machines. It isn't a speaker at all.

You'll almost certainly need a Cloudlifter if you use dynamic microphones

The box is fantastic. My favorite dynamic microphones (Shure SM7, Sennheiser MD 421, Royer R-1) have all been given to me. new punch and volume (e. g. , Beyerdynamic M 201 TG, etc. ) I also have a few of their CL-series single-channel amplifiers. I have one box that I keep on my mic stands. I now have plenty of headroom on my input gains, and I can choose any mic in the locker based on its tone, response curve, and pattern, regardless of output levels, thanks to the Cloudlifter's solid 20db boost with no coloration or noise. These aren't going to work in a tube. Although amps are no longer in use, they still serve a valuable purpose and have become an essential part of my toolkit.

The Cloudlifter is an excellent product, though there was a minor issue with some XLR connectors

I had a minor issue with some XLR cables and thought I had made a mistake, but the Cloudlifter is a fantastic product. For my dynamic mics, I switched to shorter cables, and the gain is perfect/very clean. For the serious podcaster, this is a must-have item.

Cloudlifters are fantastic and a must-have! I've tried other gain boosters, but they don't provide the same level of clean gain as the cloudlifter. I went with the cl- option. 4 to save money while still being able to mount it.

AWESOME UNIT - WORKS WONDERFULLY WITH MY WIRELESS

I'm one of four people in a four-person A-team. Capella singing group with four wireless microphones that are connected to our mixer. My band almost never performs on stage and instead prefers to perform in front of an audience. Prior to the CL- 4 We were constantly having feedback problems, such as pops, hums, and squeaks. Then we came across the CL- We were able to increase the volume as well as the clarity, and we were able to eliminate all of the annoyances. Because there are four inputs, we'll use the CL-. 4 is a very useful number that fits nicely in our rack. To be clear, I did not purchase this unit through Amazon. However, it is such a fantastic product that I felt compelled to write a review and recommend it.
