Questions & Answers
I'm feeding an Apogee Quartet with my ISA Two as a clean boost. The ISA Two will add color to your signal and fatten it up, which is a good thing. It's fantastic for guitar and vocals. As long as you don't overdrive the inputs and clip, the Quartet will keep whatever signal you feed it pure and beautiful.
Yes, that is correct. It can be stored in regular racks.
The 18i20's analog output would simply be connected to the analog input. There is no digital output on this unit.

I'm satisfied because the preamps have performed admirably. I also have an ISA server, which is a single box that isn't usually rack mounted. The ISA model has two DI inputs and outputs, allowing you to record a vocal and direct in guitar to two different tracks. The ISA version also comes with a digital output card that is simple to install and configure. Aside from that, the ISA one and ISA two sound identical, and you get two preamps in one box. The ISA Two adds only a small amount of color to a performance. It adds some warmth and punch while remaining faithful to the mics I've used.
This mic pre is the best I've ever used in my home studio. Focusrite also provides excellent support.
This product is fantastic; my sound is solid, awesome, and clean. My bass is spot on, and my microphones are as good as they've ever been. I love it so much that I won't record anything else without it. Very sturdy, and the high pass filter is so useful that I can't imagine life without it. Enjoy yourself, hahahhahahahahahahahahahahahaha And this is something I have in my studio.
Excellent prea with a large number of features.
