Adds up to 25dB of perfectly transparent gain to your signal, providing a significant boost to low-output microphones and allowing even budget microphones to sound clean and professional.

Long cable runs are provided with enough energy to keep noise at bay.
Professional Recording Studios, Live Performance, Schools, Churches, Bands, and Any Other Professional Audio Setups are among the applications for which LyxPro LCS Premium Series Cables are ideal.

Do you have your microphone coiled in a loop to save space? If that's the case, it's creating a loop, similar to an indoor antenna. Use a shorter cable if possible, or simply lay your current one out flat.

This is absolutely amazing. I'm new to voiceover and had no idea what I was getting myself into when I bought my SM7B. My focusrite appeared to be excellent, but I had to raise the gain so high that the background noise became unbearable. br>br>When I called this business, I was able to speak with the owner directly. He was very patient and kind as he explained what kind of microphones worked with it (mics that do not require phantom power as this does), how they were made, and so on. It was a pleasure to speak with him and hear his enthusiasm. Also, what about the device itself? br>br> It only takes up space on my desk, but if the house were to collapse due to an earthquake, this might be the only thing left. The phrase "heavier than it appears" only scratches the surface of how solid this is. I'm confident that if I ran it over with my car, it would not break. br>br>To cut a long story short, it boosts the volume of your quiet mics without adding a lot of background noise, and it's well worth the money.

It enhances the performance of a good microphone
5/5

I bought the Electrovoice RE 20 microphone, a legendary talk radio workhorse, a few years ago. Rush Limbaugh is so fond of it that he had it gold-plated. Whatever your political beliefs, you can't deny that it's a fantastic film. mic with a good sound I knew it was in a class that required a pre-requisite when I walked in. So I set up a basic Behringer mixer in my small home studio. On the voice-overs I was doing for documentaries, it sounded fine, but it never seemed to produce the kind of rich, warm tones I was used to hearing on NPR. I had to turn up the gain until I could hear the Behringer in my tracks- It's just barely possible. Even though it's a fairly quiet mixer, I could hear it even if no one else did. It was as if the entire system was straining to cope with that microphone. And then, after doing some more research on voice recording a few weeks ago, I figured out what I was doing wrong- or, to be more precise, was not doing anything- for a long time, namely through the use of an in-house line pre- On that mic, turn up the volume. As it turns out, these high-profile individuals aren't as high-profile as they appear. end ribbon and condenser microphones are designed for the same high-quality results. sound systems with monster pre-amps for high-end studios amps. Experts said I needed a pre-amplifier if I wanted to get the most out of my nice mic. amp for my pre-production If you will, call it an amp. Although there are several brands available, the Cloud Lifter is the most popular. As a result, I decided to investigate what was causing such a stir. Wow! I connected it to the output line with a short XLR cable and turned on the mixer's 48 volt phantom power, which is required to run the Cloud Lifter (but not passed through to the mic). I put on my headphones and listened to "Testing" for about half an hour. " and-- OMG! It was as if the mic was covering my entire throat. Highs, lows, and everything in between are all part of the human experience. I never imagined my voice could sound so good! The Cloud Lifter is STONE silent and adds 25 dB of gain on its own. The additional pre-processing The mixer can "read" every nuance of detail coming from that mic because of the amp power. I mean, the brightness and warmth of what I'm getting right now is mind-blowing. I was squandering a fantastic microphone the entire time. If you're recording voice and want to use a true professional studio, this is the place to go. The Cloud Lifter, in my opinion, is a must-have for anyone who wants good sound.

On SM7B, I'm really happy with this
5/5

This is a must-have if you own a Shure SM7B; I've always thought my SM7B was a great mic, but with the Cloudlifter, it's an even better one. I'm glad I found this product; running it on Phantom power was an excellent design decision; the preamp is very quiet, and the signal does not have any weird coloration. It only does one thing for a specific set of microphones, but it does it well.

Great
5/5

This is a fantastic product that does exactly what it says it will. I have a decent preamp with plenty of gain, so I took a chance, knowing from previous experience that a Cloudlifter wasn't required for an SM7B. I didn't want a low-cost device in my signal flow for several reasons. It was satisfactory, but it had reached its maximum capacity. The Cloudlifter brought the setup to life, and any dynamic would benefit from having one. It isn't cheap, but it is significantly less expensive than a rackmount channel strip that can accomplish the same task. It is important to note that it requires 48 volts. It appeared to be passive, so I assumed it was.

For the SM7B, this is a must-have
5/5

If you have a shure sm7b and a low-cost audio interface like I do (scarlet 2i2), you must buy this cloudlifter; unless you have a very well-treated room, such as a professional studio, and/or no sound is heard around or from the outside, you might be fine; however, this will also depend on the audio interface you have. IMO Just buy it if you have an audio interface worth less than $200; you won't be sorry.

It's incredible! I use this with a Shure SM7B, an iRig Pre HD, and my iPhone to record in GarageBand; without it, I was getting a lot of line noise bringing the pre-amp in
5/5

Despite the fact that the SM7B is a dynamic mic, the Cloudlifter CL-2000 is a condenser mic, so it didn't need to be turned up higher than 4. If you're planning a long session, make sure you have fresh AA batteries because you'll need the phantom power supply that comes with the iRig Pre HD. This is a "must have" item!.

With a condenser mic, you can get a perfect lift
5/5

I have an SM7b, and the gain was simply too high to achieve the levels required for home recording voice over for animation. After hearing about the cloud lifer from the engineer, I placed an order for one. It's precisely what I was looking for. I had a phantom power button on the Scarlett interface, which was required to power this lifter. I couldn't be more pleased with the unit's build quality and performance.

CL- Cloudlifter 1 and a XLR connector with a short length: What a fantastic combination! The Cloudlifter CL- has received a lot of positive feedback
5/5

1. So all I'll say is that this device does exactly what it's supposed to do, and it does it exceptionally well. To your preamp or interface, you'll get clear, lifted audio. This is especially important when using a quiet mic like the Shure SM7B, which I use in my home studio for vocals and voiceovers. It's ideal to combine it with a short XLR to connect to your preamp or interface, as it simplifies cable management.
