For low-cost microphones, this is a good, clean gain boost

I use it with a Rode Podmic and a Focusrite Scarlett Solo (3rd Gen) and it gives my stream a lot more clean microphone gain. I admire the meticulous attention to detail that has gone into this pre-production. amp. If I get another microphone for podcasting, I'd buy it again.
