This hub is fantastic, and the cable is three feet long!
Hello there,br>Yes, this USB card reader supports 128GB SD cards.br>Thank you for your interest and support.
Only if the tablet is equipped with a full-size USB port (known as USB-C). A, I believe). Perhaps there's an adapter cable somewhere. not sure.
It will read anything that fits into the slot - 6 year old M2 format cards were no problem for me to read.

I've used this company's other products (enclosures) and found them to be reliable. Because of the positive reviews and my previous experience with UGREEN's products, I decided to purchase this item. This device has USB and card reader ports, which I thought was an excellent combination. br>br>MacBook Air 2012, reader connected, SanDisk Ultra 128GB microSDXC UHS-I microSDXC UHS-I microSDXC UHS-I microSDXC UHS-I microSDXC UHS-I microSDXC UHS-I microSDXC UHS-I microSDXC U This card held a well-organized backup of expensive video lectures, which was supposed to be cloned to another card for safekeeping. It read the card, I ejected it properly, and when I reinserted it, it read it again. I now have three Unix Executable files (see screenshot) and everything else was gone, but the card was still about 110GB full, indicating that the data was still on the card. br>br>It took me well over ten hours to get the data back (maybe), it's disorganized, and I have no way of knowing whether all of the files are intact or corrupted because it's too early to tell. br>br>Hint: if you ever lose data in this or any other way, DO NOT READ OR WRITTEN TO THE CARD; instead, STOP AND RESEARCH WHAT CAN BE DONE TO RESTORE THE DATA. Then, depending on the results of your research and your risk tolerance, try to recover the data first and then repair (if possible) later. The card could not be returned to its original state in my situation. The card was formatted as exFAT because I knew someone would ask. br>br>I used Disk Drill Pro, and my 128GB card was giving me close to 256GB of data for some reason (which I'll have to figure out later). As a result, I needed disk space in order to recover the data. That meant using what I had, a Samsung BAR Plus 256GB, which cost $50, and making a second copy of the recovery done using a different method to ensure I didn't lose the data. All I had was a reserve Evo 860 SSD, which I was not looking forward to using up or adding writes to (my understanding is that it's best to keep SSD writes to a minimum for best practices). Oh, no, another $80 has been squandered. Furthermore, I no longer consider the SanDisk Ultra to be reliable, so another $21 has been thrown away. The prices listed are current as of March 24, 2019, when this review was written. br>br>Total time spent: 10 hours plus, $151 plus tax, and a trip to the UPS store to return this garbage. br>br>In conclusion, if you value your time and money, you should value your data. BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE! br>br>Updated on April 18, 2019: UGREEN expressed his opinion as follows: "We're a responsible seller, and we'll do everything we can to resolve your issues as quickly as possible. " br>br> Could you please contact us directly through Amazon so that we can rectify the situation? "br>br>So I did, and the following is a summary of our current messages: That they progressed from here: br>br> "As a result of your loss, we will bear the corresponding responsibility" to this: "When you buy items from our store next time, I'll do my best to help you apply the best discount or give you an extra gift. " That has to be a joke, right? br>br> (BTW: (Note that the word is loss, not lose. ) br>br>Note: If you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "creative There's a lot more to the messages than what I've written here, but it's too much for one review. My point is to let you know that just because a seller says something nice like "we want to do the right thing," it doesn't mean much unless they actually do it. I've benefited from Amazon reviews, and I'm hoping that my review will be beneficial to other buyers. "To confirm whether it is the card reader or the card issue, we recommend having the card checked and recovered in a nearby professional store, which will be more secure. " br>br> br>If the professional staff's check and test confirms that the problem is with the card reader, we will be held liable for your loss. So don't be concerned. "br>br>In response, I explained that I had already returned the reader to Amazon, and while they claim to have shipped a replacement, I haven't received anything yet (it's too soon), and I'm not sure I trust it anyway. I also explained that having the card professionally checked and recovered would add a significant amount to the loss cost. I was attempting to save them money because they had agreed to shoulder the financial burden of my loss. br>br>I replied in detail, including the following in my message: "You offered to shoulder responsibility, and I tried to save you money by omitting the cost of professional diagnostics and recovery services, for which I received a "blow off. " br>br>I've offered them a compromise, and I'll keep you updated if/when they are held accountable for the loss.
0 card reader that gets the job done quickly and efficiently. By far the best product of its kind I've ever used (and I've tried at least ten different models). br>br>Here are a few features that I like:
- long USB cable (no additional adapters required)br>- very good construction quality (aesthetically pleasing, sturdy, with no sharp edges, gaps, or holes, for example)br>- It sits steadily on my desk (it could use a little more weight inside, which is something to think about in the future, but it's fine right now)br>- 3 USB 3. Having 0 ports on the panel makes using pen drives a lot easier. br>- Even the largest pen drives will fit next to each other with ease thanks to the generous spacing between individual USB ports. br>- Most common media cards are supported (unless you have something extremely unusual), and this device will suffice. br>- (SSD connected via USB 3. 0) lightning quick 0 port was consistently hitting 100MB/s)br>br>Features that I do not care for:
- phone holder (meh, not very useful)br>br>Any problems so far:
- None at all, to be honest. br> If you work in the dark, a super bright blue LED can be quite distracting.
This Ugreen was purchased to replace an older USB hub with only two USB ports, but it only lasted two weeks before it fried and died, and it no longer reads SD cards. I needed to return to my previous location. The very thick and heavy cord that plugs into the back of my computer does not allow me to adjust the UGREEN USB Hub in a position where it is easy to insert and remove the cards and various USB cables I need to plug in and remove when it is attached to the back of my computer. When the Ugreen is plugged into the back of a computer, it slants "backwards" your desktop, making it difficult to see the slots and the blue status LED light that indicates the device's connectivity. The cord connecting the Ugreen to your computer has no flexibility, making it difficult to position the hub.
This device was purchased around the middle of the year. It was in November of last year. Because my computer only has USB ports on the back, my plan was to create a base for my smartphone with three USB ports for easy access. br>br>In my setup, I have a USB C cable connected to charge a rechargeable mouse I have and to connect my phone (but not to charge it), a USB lamp, and the USB dongle for the wireless keyboard, as well as to read USB 3. 0 data. 0 memory sticks can be used without issue, and the OTG SSD disk has a low power consumption. Design: br>br> It accomplishes its goal admirably. br> My phone is a Huawei Mate 20X, which is a large smartphone with over 7. The screen is 1 inch thick and fits snugly on the base. Don't move, and don't be surprised if you notice something strange. When used with a phone with a thick case or a tablet, they are perfectly secure in place with a good viewing angle if I put a small foam on the part of the base where the mobile sits, because the front support fence is somewhat high and made it difficult to use the virtual buttons of the mobile, but by giving it a little height it was perfect. Connection: br>br> br>For USB 2, it works well. 0, and 3. 0 low- devices with lots of power I'm referring to keyboard and mouse connectors, printers, a USB lamp, and a data cable. An external power source is used to charge or operate devices that consume a lot of electricity. It's important to remember that all of the power comes from a single USB port, which must then supply power to the device's components; I've successfully used memory sticks and an OTG SSD disk. But if I had trouble connecting an external USB disk, it was almost certainly due to a lack of power. And forget about using it with a camera; it won't work without a power supply. Cable: br>br> br>The cable is short, which is preferable in this case because the unit is designed to be placed next to the computer and does not require a cable. So, at the very least, I like how long it is because it allows me to place it anywhere on my desk without having to worry about hiding the extra cable. SD portsbr>I've only used it for a mobile SD card, which I can read and write without issue.
