There is no memory in this adapter, it is just an adapter. In order to put this in something that doesn't accept a mini SD card, like a computer, it has to be inserted with a mini SD card inside.
Is this something you would buy if you wanted to buy The 1TB version is the best choice. A unit of this size cannot be upgraded, it is one piece.
You can use it with them, yes. There have been no issues for me

The reason I ordered it is that I lost the previous one I had from years ago, and then I found I use it as a bookmark to keep track of a book I'm reading because I'm too lazy to return it. I think it's a pretty good solution.
My dash cam needed this adapter so that I could use micro SD cards. In my dash cams the memory cards fit in the regular sized slot, but in all the new electronics, the micro SD cards fit in the smaller slots. In addition to the new micro SD cards I am able to use in the dash cams I have right now, I also have the smaller micro SD cards that I intend to use in new electronic equipment at a later time without having to use an adapter as large as this one. The micro SD cards mounted in the larger SD card adapters seem to work fine and do not slow down video feeds downloaded from them.
I purchased the new card to replace it. In reality, I only bought an SD card adapter because the one I purchased from Amazon the day before was defective. I purchased two MicroSD cards along with two adapters. I needed one for each of the two card slots on my In receiving the two MicroSD cards, I realized some people always said that they were right protected when in fact it wasn't. As soon as I chatted with Amazon, the representative sent me a link to purchase this card, which I did, and she told me that Amazon would refund me $5 and also give me a promotional incentive of $10 on my next purchase because I was unable to use this card during I was 25 years old when I went through this Let's chat for a minute. It had never been possible for me to get the $5 refund for the $10 promotional credit, so I talked again for another 25 minutes with another representative who seemed not to understand the issue. What if she told me she couldn't issue a refund to me? Would it be possible for you to give me a $5 promotional credit towards my next purchase at spent almost an hour chatting with two representatives without receiving a refund or credit. So basically, I wasted $4 on an adapter card that shouldn't have been defective in the first place and spent almost an hour chatting with two representatives without receiving anything. It is still working great and at least I'm now able to use a MicroSD card in the second slot in my camera which is what I really wanted for my vacation, that's why I purchased it two weeks ahead of time.

In order to transfer photos or videos I had taken with my Amazon Fire Tablet to my computer, I use this adapter to insert the microSD card I took out of the tablet into the microSD slot on my computer. I can then print or watch the photos or videos on my computer. I really like how easy it is.
There was something blocking a proper insertion of a microSD card, tried several of them, but they did not work. I would rather have spent my money on something other than this! It worked perfectly when I ran to Micro Center, bought the same SanDisk adapter (I needed to purchase an 8gb MicroSD as well), and it worked the first time! Is it possible the one I received was the wrong one, or could it be a fake?.
An SD Memory adapter for microSD cards by SanDisk does exactly what it is supposed to do. As soon as the microSD card is inserted on the bottom, it works seamlessly as a standard SD card. Having micro cards on hand is very handy for people with phones and tablets that use them. Adding this device to a gift that includes a microSD would obviously make it more appealing, since the user instantly has a platform they are already familiar with from other devices. Now that we have our Samsung Note 3 and Galaxy 5 computer, we can transfer photos from them painlessly to the Wii as one example of how they would be used. This is a very handy item, and the shipping and handling were excellent! Upon arrival, this item was bundled with another item I ordered in a small plastic bag. It is something that I recommend to friends and family that have microSD cards, and that I plan to buy again so all in the family will have a convenient adaptor also.
I think I would have saved some money if I had bought a memory card from eBay rather than Amazon. In short, I used eBay to purchase the memory card and the adapter, but when I received my package I found only the memory card. In the long run, it was more expensive than purchasing the memory card plus the adapter Simply order from Amazon and save yourself the trouble of finding a good deal.
